Lineup is kinda disappointing. I hope Maze and Gaćina do good. As for the winner, my gut tells me Timo will take it.

I don't know if it is just me but i find the possible 2nd round matches really interesting :)

Franziska vs Samsonov two big guys here
Niwa vs Pitchford two prodigies here
Baum vs Oh Sangeun
Timo vs Lee Sangsu

You say correct.Dimitrij Otvcharov and Timo Boll are in the final.

I think it is too early to say that they "are" in the final

I would say for both Dima and Boll to get into the final, would require some good table tennis in QF and SF.
I think the level from QF to SF is more "fair", and we should see some good games

Boll to likely face Jun then WH
Dima to likely face Samsonov then CCY

Not to mention lots of players in between that can update the seedings imo on Dima's side of the draw more than Boll

Niwa vs Pitchford. Pitchford has beat Niwa twice in the German League. I am interested to see how Liam Pitchford will do against him on a World Tour. I hope we see this clash.
