If you are a table tennis fanatic and you value quality and you dont care about the price.. then it is a good blade with tremendous amount of control and loaded with tons of fire power ready to unleashed whenever you desire.. lol

Marketing - Profits.

But then, the grand slam winner himself doesn't even use that blade.
He uses a blade that is half the price.

So its A) collectors items or B) to play with.
Now unless you are a high level player, you can play with anything really.

High level = world top 300

Quality no doubt, but then bang, broken, all money gone lol
Or more chance in South Africa - stolen, all money gone

I wouldn't spend so much money on equipment.
Half the price is more than good enough already

I'm back using my YE, which is 15 years old

South Africa and stealing-they fit hand in hand(unfortunately)
Luckily, many people in south africa do not know about table tennis compared to other countries,so there is less chance of it getting stolen, but you never know...:p

Well, the little amount of people playing is already making lots of business for me (they stole my bat, and I need a new one lol)
Ball theifs is still the worse imo

I've been to TT places all over the world. I have not found a table tennis culture as bad when comes to things being lost during tournaments etc.
For example, 2012 SA champs, they stole my car. 2013 SA Champs, within 1 hour, over 100 balls gone (was training with my team in the practice hall and kids will just walk by and pick up a ball and leave).
