I know what Donic says, but does anyone here know what Dimitri is really using? What was his setup in the 2014 WTTC?Photographic evidence would be precious....

Thanks

It must be custom made. Some say it is Butterfly. Can't find any close up picture to tell the exact structure. The lens is Donic Dima Ultra Carbon with a senso handle.

Can't find it anywhere. He use Tenergy and he twiddle for smash so it could be different front and back. Hope someone has a clear pic of it.

I'm actually working on T80, Acuda, and the Bluefires (including the JP Turbo) right now and will soon publish my experience.

I suspect the people at MYTT are a bit more equipment-centric (and probably more in the know in that area)

You mean EJ? :p

I should of had a peak when I was a few meters away from Dima in Jan...

Funny thing I noticed was that before he was waiting for the annoucement to walk into the playing area, he put his bat under his armpits and then zip up his jacket. and then he would take it out - after a few mins and just cleam off the damp off the surface of the rubber.
First time I saw something like that.

Btw, he just came from the practice table and waited and did this

Just read the comments. A new interview of Dimitrij Ovtcharov is on the ITTF channel. You can see Ovtcharov gluing a Donic Bluefire rubber onto his blade... its a red one. Maybe he is using this on the backhand side?

You know, I don't think Dima will allow a video of him glueing other branded rubbers to surface out there :p
I also saw Xu Xin gluing up the Stiga rubbers on his forehand and backhand....hm....

And Imo, Dima didn't wait for the glue to totally dry before putting it on

I think so too.. It's only commercial. Dima has now signed a life time contract with Donic, wonder why that is when he ain't even using their rubbers :p

Just him wearing their clothing and all the media portraying Donic as his sponsor, gives them good advertising.

Remember,he aint just any tt player,he's the best in Europe

I agree here Tony. So perhaps he thought or ITTF thought it would be a good idea to show users he is gluing this for Donic purposes?

I would have left the glue to dry a little longer to :p

Hey Anders!

I was looking for an Andro blade;
andro-kinetic-supreme-off.JPG

Andro Kenitec Supreme OFF and I was wondering you know where to get one of these.

Maybe Dandoy sports, or this web site in Norway: http://www.bordtennisutstyr.com/ But I don't know if he ships outside Norway..

But I know of the blade, and it's a good one :)

Well that's a shame.. But the one you went for is also pretty decent! Good luck and let me know how it feels :)

Watch from 2.48

That blade in the video is just some Ovtcharov Senso V1 with brown face and yellow pattern handle, not his personal blade.
