Foreign players in Chinese Leagues - 2014

I remember last year, there was a debate on another forum that China/CTTA is so selfish and not wanting to open up participation of foreign players in China league (Same time when Japan pulled out players as China can't guarantee they safety and some other polically stunt) I then provided information of 2013 foreign list, and that keep those people quiet. Guess what - many Japanese played in China last year, only the high profile ones was forced to pull out due to politics etc.

Any ways, I though it is nice to know what foreigners are in China, so here is 2014:
I am leaving out Super League as that information is public knowledge.

Jia A / First division:

Mens
Foreign clubs/teams in Chinese league - 2, one each from Egypt and Chinese Taipei
Players from:
Korea, Egypt, Sweden, Hong Kong, France, North Korea, Taipei, Singapore,
Total 23 foreign players of 123 1st division male players

Womens
Foreign clubs/teams in Chinese league - 2, one each from Brazil and Chinese Taipei
Players from:
Hong Kong, North Korea, Taipei, Singapore, Holland, Japan, Brazil
Total 27 foreign players of 114 1st division female players

And hope you guys can see how China is opening up to assist other countries - and yes, foreign team playing in 1st division. Last year Egypt and Russia were there.

Total 9 foreign players of 297 3rd division players

Jia D / Forth division:

Mens and Womens
Players from:
Vietnam, Spain, Taipei
Total 7 foreign players of 306 4th division players

I have to say, there is a lot less foreigners in 2014 compared to 2013

Yeah thanks very much, I only know two of them who have played for national team for long time.. Some Vietnamese members on here should know better than I do 'coz my knowledge on Vietnam TT is pretty poor though...

I think it is good that they join the league - which is basically just 2 tournaments a year.
Only super league is a normal league (3 months with weekly matches)
Other division is like a +/- 6 day tournament, twice a year

Teams will play 2 matches a day, for around 6 days.

So in essence, many "teams/players" can work this in nicely.

This is how Brazilian, Egyptian and Taiwanese teams are doing, just going to China prior to train and compete
