Team Europe has no chance, firstly as they don't have their 2 best players, Ovtcharov and Boll. And secondly, they are european!

Team Asia are way too strong for Team Europe, The selections are ridiculous as there are no top Europeans playing, looks like a whitewash too me!!

Not bad for Team Europe losing only 2:3 on day 1. Both Gao Ning and Tang Peng failed to score.

RESULTS :

Robert Gardos - Jun Mizutani 0-3 [9-11;8-11;5-11]
Adrian CRISAN – GAO Ning 3:2 (11:9, 11:5, 7:11, 3:11, 12:10)
Panagiotis GIONIS – XU Xin 0:3 (4:11, 5:11, 8:11)
Bastian STEGER – CHUANG Chih Yuan 0:3 (8:11, 6:11, 6:11)

Tan Ruiwu just beat Tang Peng 3:1, so first day is 3:2 in favour of Asia, I think a very acceptable result for Europe, what will tomorrow bring?

European "All Stars" lol....
Right now the 5 ranking wise should be Dima, Freitas, Samsonov, Gacina and Panagiotis...

Asia 6:4 Europe after day 2. Can't get any better results than this considering Team Asia has the best from every country but Team Europe is not.

DAY 2 RESULTS :

TAN Riuwu– Jun MIZUTANI 1:3 (9:11, 8:11,15:13, 7:11)
Adrian CRISAN – TANG Peng 3:1 (11:8, 8:11, 12:10, 11:5)
Panagiotis GIONIS – CHUANG Chih-Yuan 0:3 (9:11, 6:11, 11:13)
Bastian STEGER – XU Xin 0:3 (5:11, 6:11, 4:11)
Robert GARDOS – GAO Ning 3:0 (11:6, 11:6, 11:8 )

Asia was already a winner before the duel between Robert GARDOS and GAO Ning started, but both players are well known professionals and big fighters, so we saw another nice match.
Robert played aggressive from the beginning and after 6:4 he made three points in the row and closed the game at 11:6.
Robert won the second game in similar style with the same result 11:06.
More suspense was in the third game. At 8:6 for GARDOS, GAO called for time-out. After 8:8 the great backhand from Robert followed with edge ball for last point for his win.

Asia emerged victoriously at the 2014 Asia – Europe All Stars Challenge (Asian Event) –. After second day of fierce battles host Continent preserved the advantage gained on the first day. Adrian CRISAN scored for Europe like day earlier and Robert GARDOS added another point today

Europe – Asia 4:6

Tony,you make me lol:)

This is the most pointless tournament in this years calander and they even call it all stars....
I am actually embarrass to tell people about this touranment.

It is like watching NBA all stars, but all you see is 2nd half of the ranking while the top are not even bothered about it.

Even China's own event - penhold vs shakehand has higher level competition and possibly more viewership than this

So these guys are all stars...

What do you call a compeition when ZJL, ML, WH, Timo, Dima and other world rank players take part.
Super All Stars?
