Ok TTD, i need your advice on a setup i'm thinkin about.

I'm thinking about a xiom aigis, with vega pro for forehand, and a yinhe LP.

Not definite though.
Give me your set ups and style of defense pls.

The style of defense i want to play is
Opportunistic attack (modern defense)
Good positioning, athletic style
Chopping on BH, w/ strong underspin (no need for extreme spin reversal)
Ability both to chop and smash on FH.

I currently play attack , ~1700-1800 US.
Using a viscaria w/ DHS H3 NEO and T64

Thanks!

The crew at OOAK will give you a lot of answers if you post this one there, although there might be a few defenders here.

Each player got different preferences for equipment, but generally, a modern defender/chopper uses a wood blade in many different speed ranges anywhere from Def to ALL+, a modern FH rubber like Tenergy, and a sponged LP of their flavor. Endless number of possibilities and the crew at OOAK has killed this horse of a question a few million times if you look at similar posts.
