We are recruiting testers for the launch of Tibhar new blade, ACTIUM. The ACTIUM blade has received positive reviews in Korea.
Please consider giving the blade a try, and seeing for yourself what the excitement is all about!

If you have previously reviewed a blade of any kind, please post a link on this thread. If you have never reviewed a blade,
it’s okay — just describe briefly why you would like to be a tester for ACTIUM.

After we review and evaluate candidates, we will choose 5 as blade testers for ACTIUM.

[FL, ST]

If you are one of the five selected, here are the conditions:

1.The blade is FREE, but you would need to pay for shipping.

2.In order to receive the blade, send me an e-mail: ([email protected]).

3.Use the blade, and submit a complete, honest review in a timely fashion.

<<<<<<<<< The tester for application deadline is November 16 >>>>>>>>>

You can see many Actium images in the nexy website:

Thank you.

i would like to review the blade Actium in order to provide people good, unbiased experience,so that if they are searching for a blade and come upon my review, they will get a good idea of what to expect.

I have experimented being a defender before, but wasnt really into it.i was good, but not excellent.now that i have this opportunity,i will retry.

I have always wanted to try and be a modern defender with a JSH style play, and this blade will make that happen.the Actium might even turn me into a defender for life,as the name might have an effect on me.

I have reviewed a few blades on a German forum, and I would test this blade in co-operation with a defense player from our fifth league. Not one training session goes by in which he´s not trying to find the ideal blade within his existing collection, ranging from Joo Sae Hyuk via custom-made Joola to old Stiga, and lately custom-made Romanian blades with a faster forehand than backhand, and probably 50 that never get played at all.

All of these have strengths and weaknesses, and he refuses to even them out by choice of rubbers. So I would really love to give him a new perspective and stabilize his performance. Myself, I am an offensive player so I´d like to say a few things on how the opponent receives balls from the Actium compared to other blades.

i would like to try out the blade as i cannot find the perfect combination yet.
every blade i tried seemed too slow on the fh,which i think the white ash will solve for me,it being dual speed.
I also love to try out new setups, and this will provide me the perfect opportunity to do so.

First of all, I am excited to use a mordern defender style of blade and would like to test this blade from the basic or amateur perspective. People talk about various technicalities but the basic points (weight, feel, etc.) which makes the blade to be remembered will be my first priority. My choice of rubbers would be the Tibhar's classic ones Aurus and Genius which pairs easily with any blade. I will also pair it up with Grass D tec S on my bh for testing the classic defensive style.

...Rajd...

I want to help test out the new ACTIUM blade. My reasons follow:
First of all, I am an offensive player but, as an offensive player i can give a review from a different perspective as this blade is mean't for defensive players.
IMO faster FH and slowed BH my also help offensive players as well...The world may never know.
I also know a few defensive players at my club so they can also help me review the blade. (I have never reviewed a blade)
My opinion so far, I think this blade would fit defensive and (maybe) offensive players, I am sure the ACTIUM would be a blast in the market.
Thanks for reading my reasons on why i want to be one of the lucky five that can review the ACTIUM.

Good Morning,

I would like to review this blade as I have a wide knowledge of what i think makes 'the perfect blade' I haven't posted any reviews online but have reviewed a wide range of blades for my peers at my club.
If I was given the opportunity to review this blade I would do a step by step review and post it on all major table tennis forums.

cheers

James

Review for Actium

Hi there,

I have played table tennis for 3 years and currently play both shakehand and penhold style around 2100-2200 USATT level. Recently I have started to try out playing modern defense inspired by the games of Joo se Hyuk and Ding Song. I was given a piece of Tibhar Grass D Tech by a friend who is a long time chopper and was actually just about to buy the Butterfly Joo se Hyuk blade when I saw the post Tibhar new blade, "Actium" and the idea sound of having different outer layer for FH and BH sounds very attractive to me especially since I am by nature more of an attacking player.

I haven't yet written a review on a blade before (only only rubbers) but I am able to write a review in english and chinese, being fluent in both languages. Would be very happy to get a chance to try out a new blade and write a review about it, by the way I am from Sydney, Australia.

I have been playing for than 5 years now and still practice daily for 2-3 hour and would give a good honest review about the blade

Hey Sr Vice Pres Lee, This is William.

TTD is a GREAT place to ask for testers of blades, memebrs here are post often and are passionate.

Another two great forums for defensive specialists (Actium is a blade appealing to defenders) are OOAK forum (I think you know that one) and the German defender forum "Pimp My Blade" (People can post there in English) Matt Pimple from MyTT got in on your last blade promotion (Kanaph) and is a big-time poster at PMB forum. Whatever he tests he talks about there too.

Make no doubt about it, TTD is a great place to ask for testers and the membership and reach of this forum is outstanding.

Also consider hitting up some of the large defender specialist TT forums as well. You probably already did this at OOAK, consider Pimp My Blade forum as well.

TT Daily would have been a great forum to ask for Kanaph testers, but that is over and I hope some Lucky Buck gets his chance to test the ACTIUM.

Even a flexible attacker could appreciate the soft defense BH of this blade, so it could possibly suit a flexible attacker very well too.

I dont think he posts here, but Swiss guy Martin Spin might be a good candidate, he is known in Europe for promoting defensive style, and so are another few hundred posters.

Your job to decide exactly WHO gets an Actium is going to be a very DIFFICULT job. You have a lot of good qualified candidates among both newer players and veterans of the TT forums.

Hello nexy,

I run a table tennis website, KevinsTableTennis.com. A variety of equipment reviews are posted here. Between this site and other social media accounts that can be found in the links below my post I reach a large number of people interested in the sport.

Here is an example of a recent review I wrote for the Xiom Stradivarius blade --> http://kevinstabletennis.com/?p=103

Enjoy!

Hey Kevin, someone like you who is 10,000% nuts about TT (AND does something about it) will fit in this place like a "T" dude. :)

Edit: Hey Kevin, you run into Mike Meier yet? He is S.D. based, but he runs around LA sometimes. Tell my Korean friends there Hello.

I think people are just after freebies. Some may even lie to achieve this....

Guys, seriously, this is a "product review".
If you are not a tester or can become one, then you may create a very negative image and create problems for the future. ie such oppurtunities will never happen ever again. You basically just need one bad apple and thats it.

I have seen how some young kids, who lack table tennis skills (and obviously business/marketing skills) and understanding of table tennis, but then they hide behind a computer and act like they are a coach or a top level player. This happens all the time and isn't just limited to kids.

Maybe TTD should incorporate the Verified Pro program with legitimate "testers", so can provide some some quality control and assurance to companies like Nexy who is willing to "invest" (throw away money) for the sake of promotion and have a chance of a better ROI.
Same time this limits out scammers or people who have other intentions.

Just my opnion and no hard feelings to any one

it would be a good idea for the reviewers to pass the review through someone first, await acceptance then post it.Those person(s) could be the forum moderators,Nexy himself.Or even accomplished members of the different forums.
