its Rumoured there is a Further Price Increase ;)

Butterfly cuts themselves with those stupid prices. Any other rubber brand sells their products for < € 40. I think Butterfly rubbers will more and more fade away from the table tennis circuit, with the exceptions of the pro's who are sponsored by Butterfly. I mean, they are not clearly better than other brands, so why overpay?

Yep heard that aswell. It will go from 55 euro to over 60 euro.

Just for a stupid piece of rubber.

Now 60 euro is just too much for a piece of rubber and sponge.
With that amount of money, I could buy

for two months ! Three times a day !

You know what I wanted to say guys..
Sccrr *COUGH*
Too much screwing is bad ye know ;)

To me, the price went up for like 3 times since I bought it. I recalled that I get it around 55USD, then the second time i bought went up to 66USD, and currently is 75USD. And this all just in within 6 months period >.>

Fortunate that I discovered chinese rubber still suit me the best, especially I'm playing almost 5-6 times a week. This could safe me like about 1/2 of the cost every one or two month

Screw Tenergy D:
Didnt really like it, there are lotsa alternative there.
Not only the price, but people's opinion about it is a bit biased.

I prefer Tibhar's line of product.

Good boy Yosua :p I am a Tibhar man thru and thru as well. I don't understand the hype with Tenergy at all, it's brand hype! Tenergy ain't that great a rubber, it's feeling is almost worse than Catapult. So many better rubbers out there to be used! :p

Yeaah, brother !
My Blade is Tibhar's
My FH Rubber is Tibhar's
My BH / LP Rubber is Tibhar's
My balls (not those ones.. please..) are Tibhar's
My table is Tibhar's
My sidetape is . . . YASAKA !! :p

Even though for blade Tibhar is not as shiny as another brand, the rubber quality just rocks !!

Oooh and to add, my TT bag is also Tibhar's ;)

Mmm sorry sir TTNard for making this thread an improper one..
Will review Tenergy 05 a bit :
Very good speed, Good control (with the correct technique), Extreme spin, 'Great' throw angle, 'Great' price, 'Great' weight. This conclusion of mine is based on personal experience of my friend's bat (T05 with Gergely Alpha Blade).

i use the thibar nimbus VIP. its a good rubber too compare to the tenergy. and its cheaper :) maybe not that spinny, but fast with good control.

Good call VIP is quite similar in aspects, I find it is a little bit harder than tenergy but very capable in speed terms. I think achieving more spin with the VIP is a matter of altering ball contact and minor technical things like bat angle, I personally prefer the nimbus sound which is the very soft version :)
