Day 4 of the World Team Table Tennis Championships 2016 took place in Kuala Lumpur, in the 10,000 seat arena on the 2nd March! Today saw the last group matches of the men's and women's group matches.

The final day of the group stages concluded on day 4. China finished in position 1 of Group A followed by Korea DPR and Austria. in group B France finished top spot followed by Sweden (second place) and England at third. In group C Japan were victorious standing at position 1. Poland and Portugal finished in places 2 and 3. In group D Korea Republic were top of the standings. Hong Kong and Croatia came 2nd and third respectively. Full results from round 5 below:

China, Korea Republic, Japan and France all have a bye into the quarter finals of the World Team Championships. Croatia face Sweden, Korea DPR take on Portugal, Austria will play Hong kong and England battle against Poland in the preliminary stages.
