Xu Xin Is The 2016 Korea Open Champion! (VIDEOS)

The spectacular Korea Open concluded today on the 26th June 2016. The Super Series World Tour event saw the worlds top players take part in the mens singles, womens singles, mens doubles, womens doubles, under 21 mens singles and under 21 womens singles. The Men's Singles Final saw China's Xu Xin take on world number 1 Ma Long. In the women's singles final saw Liu Shiwen vs Ding Ning.

The table tennis world has been more unpredictable than ever over the last few weeks with results varying throughout the World Tour competitions. Last weekend Fan Zhendong won the Japan Open, today the 19 year old did not reach the final. Xu Xin took revenge on Fan Zhendong in the semi finals in a titanic 7 set battle.

On route to the final Xu Xin eliminated Kenta Tazoe (4-2), Cazuo Matsumoto (4-1), Wong Chun Ting (4-1) and Fan Zhendong (4-3). In the other half of the draw Ma Long defeated Woojin Jang (4-0), Youngsik Jeoung (4-1), Tristan Flore (4-3) and Chen Chien An.
