Wow, the World Cup this year was an absolute thriller. On Saturday Timo Boll shook the table tennis world after defeating China's Lin GHaoyaun after trailing 4-10 in the 7th set. No one expected what was ahead on the next day of battle. Timo Boll took out World and Olympic Chmapion Ma Long in an incredible 4-3 victory!

Timo Boll aged 36 produced history in Belgium last night proving the Chinese can be defeated. In an interview with ITTF, Timo expressed, "I am speechless, it was a crazy match, after being down by 3 sets to 1 against such an incredible player I just tried to enjoy the game and stay relaxed. The fans here also were amazing and I must thank them for their support. I had a good feeling before the game and I think this helps when you play against such a great player. I am shocked at even my age at 36 I can produce such a win and that I am still enjoying the game."
