The German crowd were in for a true spectacle at this years German Open as the home fans saw Dimitrij and Timo reach the finals of the mens singles event! in the semi final stages Dimitrij Ovtcharov defeated world number 2 Fan Zhendong in an absolute 7 set thriller! In the other semi final Timo Boll eliminated 14th seed Lee Sang Su!
