Simon Gauzy's racquet tested at London 2012 Olympics

Remember the other day we released an article sited by ITTF.com which introduced the official racquet requirements for the table tennis players representing their countries at the London 2012 Olympics. Well below we have a video submitted by the ITTF which shows real footage on the process that racquets go through at the ITTF World Tour's, World Cups, World Championships and Olympics.

Racquet control is very important in table tennis since the glue ban back in 2007. Many players have been caught boosting/tuning their rubbers, so its vital the ITTF catch out the cheats within the game. This is very important at the London 2012 Olympics as boosting a racquet can enhances ones ability as they will achieve more spin and speed on the ball.

Although Simon Gauzy and Claude Bergeret awaited nervously for the results of the racket analysis, the rackets passed all the procedures and test completely.
