World number 1 William Bayley has been selected today to represent Great Britain at the London 2012 Paralympic games. Including Will, nine other members on the GB paralympic team have qualified including, Rob Davies, Paul Davies, David Wetherill, Paul Karabardak, Ross Wilson, Kim Daybell, Sara Head, Jane Campbell and Sue Gilroy MBE.

All 10 players who qualified, qualified rightly through the World ranking list. The Great British team is one of the youngest paraylmpic teams in the World! The squad which features my best friend William Bayley, recently won the European Championships in Class 7. A few months later Will achieved the number 1 World ranking!
As cited on telegraph.co.uk, Chef de mission Craig Hunter expressed, "I’m delighted to welcome this group of athletes to ParalympicsGB. To have all ten all ranked within the top eleven in the world shows that there is real potential within this squad and tribute should be paid to the governing body for supporting the development of these athletes, six of whom will be competing in their first Paralympic Games."
