The results for the Kuwait Open World Tour 2012 round of 16 are now in. The fourth day of this incredible World Tour included 16 high calibre table tennis players of the World! A notable defeat in the last 16 stage was seen by Korea's Oh Sang Eun. Oh lost in six games to Jiang Tianyi with scores: 11-7, 11-6, 15-13, 11-13, 4-11, 12-10.

In the last 16 round both Japanese stars progressed to the quarter final stage. Koki Niwa defeated Singapore’s Li Hu by 4 sets to 0 with scores 11-9, 11-8, 11-7, 11-9. Compatriot Jun Mizutani followed suit and overcome Hong Kong’s Leung Chu Yan in four straight sets.
Joo Se Hyuk the number 1 seed found difficulties in the first two sets against Kenji Matsudaira trailing the first two sets. Joo found his rhythm and was the eventual winner winning the next four sets 11-7, 11-4,11-4, 11-6 progression to the quarter final stage keeping the Korean flag alive.
