China's Ma Long, Zhang Jike and Wang Hao faced Korea's Oh Sang Eun, Ryu Seung Min and Kim Min Seok at the semi finals of the World Team Table Tennis Championships on the 31 March 2012!

China yet to lose an individual match in one of the biggest table tennis events in history!

In the opening match Ma Long showed pure force in defeating Korea's Oh Sang Eun in three straight sets with scores 11-2, 11-7, 12-10.


In the second match Ryu Seung Min produced a sensational performance dominating the first set against China's Wang Hao. Wang Hao quickly responded in the second set to win 11-5. The commentators mentioned Ryu lost his concentration in the second set. Wang Hao maintained momentum through to the third set to win 11-3. World number 3 Wang Hao won the fourth set to put China in a 2-0 lead over Korea!

In the third match of this epic tie, Kim Min Seok won the first set 11-8 against China's Zhang Jike using his dynamic backhand flick to his advantage. Zhang Jike responded similarly to the match Wang Hao had just played. Wang Hao lost the first set and won the next 3 pretty quickly. Likewise, Zhang Jike won the next three sets consecutively with scores 12-10, 11-5, 11-2 to put China into the final of the World Team Table Tennis Championships!
