On the 24th June 2012, Iran's Noshad Alamiyan was crowned Men's Singles under 21's champion; a day later Noshad claimed his second title winning the mens singles at the ITTF Euro-Africa 4th Hasan II Morocco Open in Rabat.
Noshad Alamiyan was unbeaten throughout the whole tournament not losing a match in the under 21's and men's singles becoming the star player of the tournament!
In the womens singles event, Sweden's Matilda Ekholm claimed victory.

In the semi final of the Men's Singles Noshad Alamiyan overcome Belgium’s Yannick Vostes (no.5 seed) in four straight sets with scores 11-5, 13-11, 11-7, 11-2. In the final Noshad defeated Kuwait’s Ibrahem Al-Hasan in an epic seven set encounter with scores 7-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-8, 13-15, 12-10, 12-10.
Noshad Alamiyan has had a superb 2012 season with success elsewhere. In January Noshad was crowned the men's singles champion at the Middle Asia Olympic Qualification Tournament in Tehran. In February he was the winner of the the Under 21 Men’s Singles title at the GAC GROUP 2012 ITTF World Tour Kuwait Open. In April, Noshad defeated China's Wang Liqin and reached the semi final stage of the Asian Cup!
