The second stage of the Chinese Super League 2012 semi finals took place today on the 11th January 2013 with Xu Xin's Shanghai taking on Zhang Jike's Shandong. In the first stage, Shang hai won in an unexpected 3-1 victory with both Xu Xin and Wang Liqin defeating Shandong's Zhang Jike. Xu Xin completed the victory for Shanghao by eliminating Fang Bo in three straight sets. Full results from the second stage of the semi finals listed below:

Match 4: Zhang Jike 2:3 Xu Xin (6:11, 12:10, 11:5, 5:11. 0:7)
Match 5: Zhang Chao 1:2 Shang Kun (11:6, 10:12, 4:7)
Xu Xin the new world number 1 tablet tennis player repeated success from the first stage as he overcome arch rival Zhang Jike in a full 5 sets with the final score being 7-0! In a tense deciding fifth match it was all to play for as the final match is best of 3 sets and it can be anyone's game. Shang Kun of Shanghai was the man of the show defeating Shandong's Zhang Chao by 2 sets to 1!
Shanghai will now face Ningbo in the finals of the Chinese Super League over the course of 3 stages. The first stage will take place on Tuesday 22nd January, second stage on Saturday 26th January and the third stage if needed on the 27th January 2013!
