As many of you are aware I work at the SGS College Table Tennis Academy and we are now recruiting players for this September. I have been at the Academy for 7 years now and it's a fantastic environment to improve your table tennis and gain an education at the same time!
‘Fast Track Degree together with Table Tennis Academy’
The SGS College Table Tennis Academy is the former home of Paralympic Silver Medallist Will Bayley, Olympian Darius Knight and Scottish No 1 Gavin Rumgay.

Players from all over the world have come to the UK to train and be educated at the SGS college and its table tennis academy with its outstanding reputation.
Currently players from Germany, Poland and Korea train every day alongside players from the UK
Starting Sept 2013, the SGS College in partnership with the University of Gloucestershire are pleased to announce new fast track degree courses in coaching, business and fine art. As well as foundation degrees in a wide range of subjects.
The college will also be offering a Masters (MSC) in Sports Coaching.
The fast track degree programme will enable students to gain a degree in 2 yrs in an intensive course based at an ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ sports programme.
Students are able to train at the Table Tennis Academy based at the ‘state of the art’ £20m WISE campus whilst undergoing their degree courses.
TRAIN AND STUDY AT THE UK’s LARGEST SPORTS COLLEGE
The SGS college Table Tennis Academy also gives students aged 16+ the opportunity to gain an ‘Ofsted’ outstanding education in further education courses (see below) training for a career in table tennis.
You can choose from a wide range of full time courses:
• HND & HNC Courses
• Foundation Degree
• A-Levels
• BTEC National Diploma / Certificate Courses
• Access to Higher / College Education Courses
• NVQ
• GCSE’s
