Today on the 26th June the 2013 Chinese Super League round 3 took place with in-from Timo Boll defeating another Chinese National Team player! Last week in round 2 Timo Boll shocked the Chinese Super League as he dispatched recent WTTC Champion Zhang Jike in five sets. This time around Timo Boll maintains form defeating world number 1 Xu Xin. Results below with video coming shortly on TableTennisDaily.

Round 3 - Shanghai vs Jiangsu
in round 3 of the Chinese Super League Timo Boll's Jiangsu faced Xu Xin's Shanghai. In the opening match Ma Lin took on a determined Shang Kun of Shanghai. Ma Lin lost the first 2 sets however won the third. This third set win was not enough as Shang Kun gritted out the fourth set to give Shanghai team a 1-0 lead.
In the second match Timo Boll met Xu Xin. Timo Boll gave his all for Jiangsu and leveled the match score as he was victorious over Xu Xin in a close 4 sets with scores 4-11, 11-9, 11-9, 12-10.
The third match (doubles match) was between Xu Xin and Wang Liqin vs former world doubles champions Ma Lin and Chen Qi. The world doubles champions stumbled with a 2-0 loss. Shanghai led by two matches to nil.
With Shanghai in a 2-1 lead could Timo Boll save the day? It wasn't meant to be as Shang Kun was in devastating form defeating Timo Boll in 3 straight sets (11-5, 11-7, 12-10)
