Today on the 17th July the 2013 Chinese Super League round 6 took place with Ma Long and Joo Se Hyyk playing a key role for their club Ningbo. Ma Long met Germany's Timo Bolll in the match of the day in the encounter against team Jiangsu. Full details with videos coming soon on TableTennisDaily.

Ma Long & Joo Se Hyuk in the 2012 China Super League season!

In the sixth round of the Chinese Super League Jiangsu faced Ningbo. In the opening match world number 1 Ma Long disposed Ma Lin of Jiangsu in 3 straight sets with scores 11-8, 11-6, 11-5. In the second match Timo Boll took on rising star Yan An. Yan An took the first set 11-8, however Boll won the next 2 sets in a quick ordeal with scores 11-2, 11-1. Yan An pulled the match back to the fifth set, but this wasn't enough as Boll won the final game 8-6. Jiangsu and Ningbo were now level pegging at 1-1.

The doubles match took place to see which club would take a 2-1 lead. Former Olympic champions Ma Lin and Chen Qi took on Yan An and. Ma Lin and Chen Qi gave Jiangsu that vital boost winning by 2 sets to 1.

The fourth match was what the crowd had all been waiting for. Jiangsu now in a 2-1 lead with Timo Boll taking his recent China Open Doubles Partner Ma Long. Timo Boll stormed into a 2-0 lead with scores 11-9 and 11-2 dominating with his game plan. It looked like Ma Long and team Ningbo were dead and buried, however this was not the case as he made a heroic comeback to give Ningbo a fighting chance. Ma Long gave his all and reminded everyone why he is the world number 1 winning the next 3 sets against Timo Boll (11-7,11-7, 7-4) to secure the win.

In the fifth and final match with both teams clinching with 2 points each, Jiangsu's Chen Qi and Ningbo's Joo Se Hyuk battled it out. Chen Qi took a 1-0, however Korea's Joo Se Hyuk prevailed winning the next 2 sets 11-9 and 7-5.
