Borrussia Dusseldorf have been crowned champions of the 2015 German League (Bundesliga) after defeating Fulda-Maberzell in the final which took place in Frankfurt on Sunday; this is the clubs 27th title in the Bundesliga.

Borussia Dusseldorf the team of Timo Boll were favourite's for the title however Christian Suss who played his last match as a professional player during the final, caused some problems for the winning team.
Match 1: Patrick Franziska vs Christian Suss
The opening match was between Fulda-Maberzell's Christian Suss and Borussia Dusseldorf's Patrick Franziska, Suss was able to claim of his last matches in style overcoming Franziska 3-0 (11-4, 11-8, 11-7).
Match 2: Timo Boll vs Wang Xi
With S?ss giving his team a 1-0 lead, it was Timo Boll who was able to quickly level the score with a 3-0 win over Wang Xi (11-5, 11-9, 11-4).
Match 3: Gionis Panagiotis vs Ruwen Filus
The third match was a battle between two defenders, Borussia Dusseldorf's Panagiotis Gionis and Fulda-Maberzell's Ruwen Filus, although Filus claimed the first set it was Greek player Gionis who was able fight back strong in order to claim the win and give his team a 2-1 lead (10-12, 11-6, 11-5, 11-6).
Match 4: Timo Boll vs Christian Suss (Suss last match of his career)
The fourth and final match of the day was between Timo Boll and Christian Suss, it was Suss who was able to get off to a strong start gaining the first two sets, however the former European champion was able to fight back and level before clinching the fifth deciding game (10-12, 9-11, 11-2, 11-7, 11-5) which ultimately sealed the victory for Borussia Dusseldorf.
