Jung Youngsik has been crowned the Men’s singles champion at the 2015 Australian Open, the player from South Korea was able to overcome Hong Kong’s Ho Kwan Kit in the final in four straight sets (11-8, 11-5, 12-10, 11-6).

On route to the final Jung was able to defeat Hong Kong’s Jiang Tianyi in six closely fought sets (10-12, 11-6, 14-12, 11-8, 9-11) meanwhile Ho stood victorious over the 2015 Philippines Open winner Yuya Oshima from Japan (13-11, 11-5, 13-11, 9-11, 11-7).

South Korea were also able to take home the title of the Under 21 Men’s singles as Jang Woojin was able to overcome Japan’s Yuya Oshima (11-6, 10-12, 14-12, 12-10). Meanwhile it was Hong Kong who were able to clinch the Men’s doubles title, Ho Kwan Kit and Lam Siu Hang defeated India’s Harmeet Desai and Soumayajit Ghosh in three sets to one (11-4, 11-4, 8-11, 11-4).

In the Women's Singles Final Japan's Ai Fukuhara defeated Jihee Jeon to secure the women's singles title.
