In the opening game Joo proved very strong and consistent. Jun Mizutani made most of the errors which gave the Korean the 1st set 11-3.

Joo Se Hyuk maintained this fine form of consistency within his attaching chops and went into a 2 nil lead.

The third game was close with Jun Mizutani making a lot less mistakes. It looked like Jun was getting use to the backspin Joo was producing. However, Joo managed to produce some crucial forehand counters to win the set.

Joo took the last set by 11 points to 6.

Joo Se Hyuk is the bronze medallist at the World Cup 2011!
