As cited on the ittf.com, no one prepares better than the Chinese National Table Tennis Team. Last year in May the Chinese National team prepared for the World Table Tennis Championships at the Werner Schalger Academy (WSA). The WSA met all the Chinese players needs last year especially Zhang Jike in winning the World Championships! Tomorrow on the 16th March 2012 will see the Chinese team once again prepare for the World 'Team' Championships at the Werner Schalger Academy.

Werner Schalger expressed, "It is our utmost honour for the WSA to have the Chinese National team train with us once again. The team will practice at our academy from the 16th March to 22nd March 2012 as they leave for Dortmund".
It is great value for this amazing new complex which is only just 1 year old. Werner Schlager and his team's incredible passion have made dreams come true for Europe!

The importance of this addition to table tennis was immediately recognized around the world, for the major centres are the bedrock of the sport's upper echelon of player development; it is where the champions are made. In the heart of Europe, this table tennis palace of excellence changed the landscape of opportunity, for now, with its world class coaching staff operating in this world class facility, all with the highest aspirations may realize their dreams.
The concrete acknowledgment of the value of the Werner Schlager Academy was confirmed in its first year, as players from over 100 countries graced its confines, having the experience of a table tennis lifetime, not ever to be forgotten. This response is as it should be, for this place is like no other.
The topping off of this recognition occurred just prior to the Rotterdam World Championships, as the Chinese National Team, needing a place to complete their final tournament preparations, came to this Academy. Even the sport's royalty, with its highest standards of professionalism, discriminating taste, and training facility demands, knew it was the right place for them to be.
As the Chinese team was leaving for Rotterdam, they told the world they had made the right and best choice in coming to the Werner Schlager Academy. We know they are honest, that they believe what they say, for they are returning. As their last big push before the LIEBHERR 2012 World Team Championships in Dortmund, Germany, soon their two-a-day sessions will begin here. The expectation from the prior year has carried forward to now; the Academy is ready.
To capture the feelings of this special time, we will adapt a phrase that has brought great excitement to many—that phrase “Elvis is in the house.” To express our anticipation and this privileged opportunity, we say “The Chinese National Team is in the house.”
