The Chinese Women’s teams World Championships Trials 2013 are due to kickoff this weekend in Chengdu. The first stage of the squad trials will kick off this weekend on 2nd February and will last for almost a week.

There will be 22 participating players including World number 1 Ding Ning, Li Xiaoxia, Guo Yue and Liu Shiwen, in order for the players to have direct participation in the2013 World Champion.
In addition the women’s team will also be giving away prizes to their fans, the fans will be encouraged to take part in a quiz like activity where winners can win prizes including, a Chinese team calendar with an autograph from a champion, an autographed racket, commemorative stamps of the Chinese team in the London Olympics, an Olympic jersey, a coloured TV and one of the top prizes being a brand new Ipad Mini. This is due to the Chinese team’s leader Huang Biao and new head coach Kong Linghui’s emphasis on the importance of their fans participation.
