Item details

The Tibhar Smash 28/R is the table tennis table used at the 2007 World Championships, as well as the 1998 and 2002 European Championships. A 1.1" (28 mm) thick top with a 2 ½" edge rail ensures consistent play and stability. The 2 ½" x 1 ½" steel legs are height adjustable for leveling the table. Each table half can be folded and moved individually, rolling on 4" wheels, making transportation and storage very easy.

Pros
  • quite fast
Cons
  • skid
  • inconsistent
I trained on these tables at my club about 4 times a week for about 2 years.

They are pretty good tables but are certainly not the best. For high end performance players and for tournaments I do not recommend as the ball stays low and will sometimes skid along the table...you may only notice this if you play to a fairly high standard.

They are still good solid tables but if you are making an investment to buy one for the club or for your own personal use i would buy a different table.
