  1. Are double fish rubbers any good?

Thanks for the insight. Perhaps it is my misconduct in maintaining the topsheet that makes it easily oxidized
  2. I hit my Racket on the TT table

Judging from the damage, it's still pretty easy to fix Take off your rubbers, boil some water, and using small piece of paper towel/cotton grab it using tweezer or anything that can assist you to do so, drip some boiling hot water, or simply slap the cotton/paper towel. Repeat the process until...
  3. Are double fish rubbers any good?

If you would like to share, what's your personal opinion, comparing rxton 3/5 pro with volant phoenix? And also, about topsheet durability? (which in my experience, volant phoenix pretty sucks at this. It easily oxidized)
  4. Are double fish rubbers any good?

Give it a shot Few weeks ago, I've been experimenting with Battle 2 BS to no avail, it somehow messes up the overall 'clarity', my short pips backhand side feels weird. Any short pips I used (splinter, killer, moristo SP, hexer pips force, spinfire) it somehow feels weird when paired with...
  5. Are double fish rubbers any good?

Sueke for me feels mushy. It does have the 'dwell' of DHS blue sponge, but without its 'slingshot' feeling On the other hand, I've been in love-hate relationship with volant phoenix. Somehow easy to use, unboosted performance is good enough, higher tolerance, and it's drive/topspin/loop...
  6. Alternative to H3 37 degrees

Hmmm Perhaps, with same degree of hardness, 37 to be specific jupiter 3 asia (feels like h3 on steroids, and feels more 'stable' compared to commercial h3, almost as 'stable' as provincial. Plus, good topsheet grip, way better than commercial h3) Or Jupiter 3 euro (the 'euro' sponge feels...
  7. Cured of EJ!

Well, with great technique improvement, comes greater urge for slight advantage through equipment That's when the EJ strike back, with no need for 5th episode :ROFLMAO:
  8. Has anyone gone back to reversed both sides after an extended period using pimples?

Being experimenting with short, medium, long pips, and even going back to inverted on the backhand side (well, the forehand never change though, hard tacky chinese rubbers. Except when using short/medium pips, expect some FH pips whacking to give some surprise), somehow it feels beneficial...
  9. DHS fans unite!

I'm a DHS fan with love-hate relationship with it Hurricane rubbers, the best for FH, if you can afford to buy at least the provincial grade (I don't know why, despite being more demanding, it feels provincial BS suits better with 40+ balls). While not in a condition to be able to buy it, I...
  10. Videos of pros with short pips on backhand for playing tactics?

It'll be interesting to see what pips he's using right now after clippa being dicontinued. Been trying some short pips in search for something as versatile as clippa, but to no avail. 🤪
  11. Videos of pros with short pips on backhand for playing tactics?

Mentioning his name, got me some questions What's his current equipment nowadays, since clippa being discontinued
  12. Yinhe Big Dipper H40

Depends on what you previously used If you're used to typical chinese hard tacky rubber, you might try it unboosted. Unboosted, most yinhe rubbers are very playable, the feel is elastic enough But, coming from eurojap/tensors/high-tension rubber, perhaps one thin layer won't hurt at all
  13. Sample Time

Many thanks for the update I shall humbly wait for your further insights
  14. Is it possible to put Hurricane on Super ZLC Blade?

There's nothing wrong with any blade-rubber match-ups. The bright side is, using super ZLC with chinese rubbers does help in generating speed
  15. Does doing pushups have any advantage on playing?

Push-ups, and any form of physical training (bodyweight-based, or weight-lifting, both are fine) definitely bring benefits, as long as it's being done the right way Focus on repetitions (affects stamina, endurance) and explosiveness (affects speed and reflexes). Also, make sure not using too...
