Started playing TT in Loughborough in 1960s; Oxford half-blue vs Cambridge 1968 (won 7-3); represented Oxford and Oxfordshire when standards were a lot lower than they are now. ATHLETICS: Leicestershire, Oxford University Centipedes and Tortoises (i.e. a hanger-on in the reserve teams); 800m 1.59.3; 400m 52.95 - those were the days!
