  1. Cybershape Carbon

@NextLevel. What else did I write? In my experience it does not pair well with hybrids. Totally subjective and since someone else made the same experience is good to know. It was never intended to say that nobody should even try it. Too bad this didn‘t came across. I may need to improve my...
  2. Cybershape Carbon

If you asked my wife... For sure... But I have only one hobby which is a bit more expensive, so I think I deserve it
  3. Cybershape Carbon

Thats my experience too with the Cybershape Carbon. Does not really pair well with hybrid rubbers (and I tested many). But since the blade also is very fast, I stopped my testing and put into the "keep for historic reasons" shelf...
  4. WTT problems from players

Even worse. Based on their "contract" players are obliged to register they playing schedules (WTT and non-WTT) twice a year. Enough time for WTT to change their schedules to provide as much damage to non-WTT events as possible. The event in question was not German, but was the ETTU Mens Team...
  5. WTT problems from players

I would love to see a contract lawyer taking this to a court. It is certainly a contract with clear disadvantages to one side and there is no option for a PRO to avoid WTT/ITTF. Therefore I question that this would hold, if brought to a civil court.
  6. Can anybody recommend a blade that is both controllable at the table and fast further from the table?

Well. I got 2 Dynasty Carbon. One with 94g and with 85g. The 94g is way more balanced than the 85g version. The lighter one will easily get head heavy with harder rubbers. This is why I recommended a blade with 90g or over. They play totally different and I really prefer the heavier setup.
  7. Can anybody recommend a blade that is both controllable at the table and fast further from the table?

I throw in a Stiga Dynasty Carbon with a weigth of around 90g or over. The blade combined with harder rubbers offers great control close to table and has enough power away from the table. Compared to Viscaria a more wooden touch in passive game, while still being a carbon blade with all its...
  8. Using an Expensive Rubber vs Cheap Rubber, that is the question.

Well the main advantage of using "standard" (wouldn't call them expensive) rubbers vs. cheaper solutions, is the consistency of the things you get. And I would assume that the coach is on that path. If you train with Dynaryz ACC and get the next sheet, it will play the same. I have tried many...
  9. What is the best ESN Hybrid rubber for FH?

Then try Dynaryz ZGR which is 56°. A cheaper, a bit downgraded (less aggressive) version of this would be the Tronix ZGR, which I currently like best from all the different hybrids I tested.
  10. Looking for an ‘all wood alternative’ for Viscaria

Well...Viscaria has a very crisp feeling and is fast. If you are looking for an all wood alternative it will certainly be a 7-ply wood to have a similar feel. I played a Tibhar Samsonov Force Pro Black Edition and it was close in speed and has similar crisp feeling. It has less feedback than the...
  11. Hurricane long 5 golden slam

Yes. I bought two blades (one regular HL5 and one Golden Slam Version) and more than 6 rubbers there. All genuine DHS products.
  12. Hurricane long 5 golden slam

You could get it cheaper. I got mine from this seller at 180$...
  13. Speed Upgrade on FastArc G-1

I switched from Vega Pro (which is similar to G1) and Omega 7 Pro is very similar in control and in passiv shots not much faster. In 2.0mm very stable and not overpacing.
  14. Speed Upgrade on FastArc G-1

I can recommend the XIOM Omega 7 Pro. Same hardness (the mentioned Nittaku and Stiga will be much harder, which will impact your ability to open up against backspin), but same linearity with higher end speed.
