The reason you are not finding there isn't a huge difference is that the LYJ SZLC blade was known to be softer.
That is not the standard benchmark for SZLC blades.
If you have tested it against...
Another few probabilities:-
1) Make sure to shake the glue solution well before pouring
2) Use new sponges and try not to recycle as used sponges may still have the previous glue residues
3) ASEAN...
Same issue for me. It was less of a problem when I tend to do a lot of regluing for friends and self. With the lockdown in 2021, this has become a very rare occasion thus no surprise if the glue...
I got the normal version, but been using this for the past 2 years.
Pretty surprised that adding a few drops of water to the remaining glue and a vigorous shake brought the glue back. There is...
Hi all,
My remaining Revolution#3 glue are clumping up as I suspect I may not have shaken them properly before using.
I wonder is there any solutions that I can add safely to thin the glue...
I wonder if the Thread Owner is using C-Pen and not the Handshake version.
Cpen blades tend to have a larger blade size and if he is not leaving a gap on the blade on either side of the rubbers,...
I am thinking you are changing too much at one go too.
Not only the blade has been change, you are also changing all the rubbers that you are currently using and both the choices are much harder...
I believe there are still issues when trying to change/update personal details.
Even after clicking on save, the updates seems to be working behind the scenes but does not seem to be locking in...
Huang has a good comparison between the ALC blades including Timo Boll which to him is stiffer than Viscaria.

You should try to message them or contact them directly on their website for purchasing...
That's heavy! And I noticed that blades coming from China seems to be on the heavier side vs rest of the world.
The A version seems to be sold out leaving the K or C version.
I think ALC is always popular in China
Side view of the blade showing similar construction to a viscaria too.
Hi TTD,
I wondered if the members are familiar with YinHe Golden ALC. Found this interesting and yet unassuming blade from the Prott website. Links as below....
Fair point. :)
A good advice is a good advice.
Brs is right. Short Pips or MP favours a compact stroke rather than a larger stroke.
A close shot of how to play pips effectively is from this Youtube from Vietnam.

Try searching for videos against Hou YingChao <CHN> or Joo SaeHyuk <Korea> too.
This video has always been my go to on tactics on how to deal with a chopper.

It has not been confirmed, but I do feel Harimoto's blade has a treated or hardening effect done to the outer veneer similar to those treatment popularise in Stiga blades, my personal thoughts.

If you are looking for something slower than Viscaria, you should stay away from the Harimoto blades both ALC or ZLC versions.
None of them are slower by any chance vs the Viscaria.

Totally agreed... is almost a crime to put this blade to use.
Surprise to hear about the bad durability. It might have been an unfortunate case as Waran was pretty good. It has the speed and is very much easier to adapt to for those who move from inverted.
