Great concise tips from a top player for keeping your BH more compact while more efficient!
Agree!
Blade/rubber combination has a big effect too.
Personally, I cannot play an outer ALC blade with Euro/Japanese rubbers. And I cannot play an all-wood or inner carbon blade with Chinese...
PS: He means he's in the top 1100 of players in France, so around USATT 2200-2300 rating if this helps.
IFL ZLC, Apolonia and Franziska are basically the same blade, with exact same comp. I tested them side by side, did not feel any difference.
Harimoro ZLC too, it just has a slightly larger head.
Yea seems shady.
Plus I'm pretty sure ButterflyOnline.com is the official distributor for PR, so unless this website is also them... I would check with ButterflyOnline.com first and ask them if...
I don't think it was you guys, probably a difference in weight, balance or density between the 2 blades you tried, like you could find between any 2 IF ZLC or between any 2 Apolonias, Viscarias...
Yes, and it was exactly like my IF ZLC. The player I swapped it with is very high level (France Top 300) and said the same about my blade vs. his Apolonia, no surprise there! : D
Also which hardness of the H3N are you using?
Good Dipak, keep following what feels good for you!
You should have sold me your Apolonia ZLC! Lol, I could use it as backup to my beloved IF ZLC since they are the same blade.
If it's legit, they probably won't ship outside of PR because Butterfly distributors at geo-locked.
You are NOT alone !
If I follow your logic then I shouldn't listen to your recommendation/advice either! ; D
The decent argument is that for fragile rubbers, a glue layer first has proven to protect the topsheet,...
Hey Dipak,
Do you like it better than your D09C ?
Glad you like the Harimoto ALC after our discussions. Is the Apolonia ZLC still your main blade ?
H3 doesn't work well for you without booster, but it works well unboosted for a lot of people, so OP should try it for himself unboosted first for a few month, then try it boosted so he can see what...
Like others have already said, it all comes down to personal feel, the confidence it gives you, and how well you can land good balls with it even under pressure.
As for your example, I would pick...
I agree with you on everything except for #1 ; ) , many Chinese players do recommend to put a thin layer of glue before applying the booster in order to protect the topsheet and keep it from...
It's not 2nd tier, just one of the many ESN tensor systems.
If I remember right, the Evolution rubbers are Bios, If you look up Tibhar catalogs online, I think they explain what Bios brings to the...
Exactly!
I remember you helped me a lot when I started experiencing with H3 and other Chinese rubbers.
It's definitely worth a try, and good to start with the all-time classic Chinese rubber that is H3, especially at the price. Keep it simple and get commercial H3 Neo to start off, it's a great...
Bios is a particular tensor system.
Not much difference between the two, C-1 is a bet faster and spinnier and overall better quality. Vega Japan is a bit more controlled. Both great rubbers.
Likewise with T05 FX for me!
37€ is a damn good price for Target 43! : )
Seems like a technique problem, not a rubber/setup problem.
Just work on your BH stroke, push on your legs and make sure you finish higher in front of you with your elbow down
That's up to your level and strength.
It's the commercial 37 version.
It's a softer sponge.
