1. hold the paddle lightly
2. start with soft flicks and build confidence , for no spin balls I would try to put a little topspin on the flick to build in some safety instead of trying to flick flat

You could clearly see SHY is better , he is not able to read a lot of her serves and a lot of the points in the highlights ( which many be a skewed sample ) he wins is by muscling it
