I use Megaspin.net
I like to play with 5 ply all wood blades. The high feel and large sweet spot are a must for developing my form.
I am on the outside of Women’s TT but this is good to see such a flourishing following for it.
What a killer. Hugo was not my favorite but he really deserved this win. Good job!
I own and occasionally use a $60 Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon blade, which while not being as lively as my all-wood Waldner OFF 2016 still has more resonance than your typical carbon blade. It is...
Interesting. I have only played with old recreational celluloid balls as a novelty, as a newer player to the game I am unfamiliar with boosting and celluloid balls, and the 38mm ball.
I just want to mention that Gambler makes seamed P40+ 3-star balls which are now ITTF approved and they are a steal! About $.80 per ball for a 36 pack. As a newer player to the game I jumped on it.
I hope Hugo takes it!
Ah I see he failed in the semis. Still not too bad.
I hope Kanak Jha performs. His match against Ma Long showed real promise.
I use Gambler rubbers that say they don’t need boosting and it seems to be true for me.
I wonder when I’ll man up for $80 per side and play it. Though I would rather have Dignics 05 on BH and Tenergy 05 on the forehand. The Dignics seems so engage more for the backhand flick.
I like keeping my blades playable.
Also it’s cool to see not just an older player but a chopper winning it all while the CNT waits that one out.
At least Lin Gaoyuan showed up in the doubles tournament. But I always have preferred watching Euro players so I lack interest in the great games that must have been played here.
I’m just over here gleaning a bit of information for my backhand return of serve. Thanks guys!
I put it down to the type of blade you are using. All wood? Carbon? OFF? ALL? 5 layers? 7? just a hypothesis.
Wow. Overwhelmingly I and many others seem to just leave the rubbers on the old rackets. I do so in case I want to go back to playing a more ALL+ game than an OFF game, but I also just like feeling...
Resembles the open grain of Koto for me... I have no authority on the subject however.
There was a time that I switched to traditional one-sided CPen to gain an edge of surprise over my numerous Table Tennis buddies. After A couple weeks I switched back so that I could grow more as a...
Cheers mate! here's to seeing you be the pro beating interviewers some day.
I fully agree with Carl and the others that while varying your push placement and serves is a good strategy the best thing you can do is to learn to power through a heavy backspin ball with an...
Look into a Donic Waldner Senso Ultra Carbon blade with Gambler Sevens 1.9mm Rubbers, if you like to play a quick attack with high control and good spin. It would cost around $85 or so.
