Near Heilbronn? ;)

Which is the whole idea, and it works really nicely.
That is what I experienced with Dignics 05 when I first tried it. Flat hit (counter) feels hard and quite dull, on tangential hit the rubber becomes activated and supports the stroke.
R53 to me...
Exactly. But when you realize this you´ll know what to choose.
I think in their new campaign andro have put it exactly right.
First picture is of Gauzy with R53 rubber: Made for me.
Second...
Both rubbers are only different in sponge hardness.
The softer one (FX) would feel mushier and more forgiving, the harder one gives better quality when the ball is hit precisely.
Evolution rubbers are straight ESN, sponge and topsheet.
All that Japanese writing on the packaging and the secret Tibhar originally made of where the rubber was produced were just clever...
Me neither.
I was sceptical about the Rhyzer that was suggested.
Good suggestion. It´s a serious, often overlooked rubber.
With the Rhyzer series, it seems Joola have picked the softest overall set-up. For example, the corresponding GEWO rubbers (Nexxus EL) are...
This is contrary to my experience. The FO with its fibre instead of carbon and the Hinoki outer veneer feels much softer than an ALC, almost similar to Boll ZLF, quite like an all wood blade. The CO...
Excellent blade, very good feedback, more spin than Boll ALC.
If you call that a review ;)
"Heat" (as in highest setting, close to the rubber) surely ain´t a good idea.
The lower settings from 10 cm distance for a few seconds are not even close to playing in a very warm hall, where over...
4, 5 strokes - then straight into topspin vs block, of course not full throttle.
And as has been said, the actual warmup happens elsewhere before the 2 minutes prior to the match.
But even that...
Basically, control of your game. If you entend to mainly play topspin on both wings get rubbers that help you, so that you can enforce your game. Of course you´ll have to accept that you might find...
Well said.
Pretty sure, and Ovtcharov had it also when he visited the Butterfly store in Berlin recently.
Compared to the Mantra rubbers, Calibra Sound is too soft. Calibra Plus, as an older Made In Japan rubber, performs quite well - but I think you´re better off with what you have. Genesis is a...
You can find it on his Instagram, facebook and already another forum.
After playing another manufacturer´s rubbers for so long and many Donic blades he "really, no wait this one really really"...
Interesting thought, yet Gold Arc 8 is produced by ESN for DHS, hence the question why it is cheaper than other ESN products ...
I forgot to mention regional differences.
Don´t know about Austria, but I think there is no retailer for Gold Arc 8 in Germany.
It was meant for the Asian market specifically and is re-sold to...
1. There are conceptional differences. The Rasanter series for example have a thinner topsheet, which allows for a thicker sponge.
2. There are generational differences. Early ESN rubbers used to...
Really?
Because this is a matter of behaviour rather than rules.
It seems over the years the view on certain things has changed.
We have a few 70+ players who say "thank you" for service...
Oh yeah, I see ;)
Too many speculative threads on this and another forum kinda put me in "serious" mode.
Maybe because it is still a thread about Hugo Calderano´s personal equipment, not one about any blade named after him?
See also Boll, Samsonov, Ovtcharov, Waldner, Persson, Appelgren and many...
Well, talent and work comes first. Basically, once you are among the chosen for a sponsor contract (and I don´t mean the local kids who get 50% off anything and then claim they´re sponsored, that is...
True for world class.
Below that, there are also run of the mill pro rubbers. Still better than what you can buy, but not individualised.
So if you are really a face of the brand, you should...
