try the multiball session wherein about 2-3 players are in rotation per drill. It is fun and having keeps players from losing interest.

Definitely topspin. The racket angle will tell you that the ball is being brushed.
As far as I remember te new ball is still 2.7grams so it is not heavier but it is more resistant to deformation or feels harder.

The CNT rubbers are not that fast even with boosting, They might be easier to use but all those power strokes are from the players themselves and not the rubber.
