This is well put. Better save up for decent shoes and use for several years. No kidding, I ordered Mizuno Wave Drive from tabletennis11 and been using them for 2 years now. Playing A LOT of table...

nah most fierce debates are usually about h3 boosting
yes
Divide by countries then. National player from any country == Provincial level player from China.

But really I think high level players are going to win even with cheap equipment. As...
Best video: hands down Apple i-phone (apparently this word is banned huh?).
Best photo: Samsung Galaxy S22/S21 Ultra or Google Pixel. It's proven so many times that Google Pixel has the best colour...
I've found that it's so much easier to do BH flip with any ball with tacky rubber on the BH.
Just get to position correctly and just swing the wrist - the rubber will do the rest.
H3 / FastArc G1...
I personally found that I can loop kill the ball easier with more flexy blades like Long 5, Nittaku Acoustic, PG-7, Yinhe PD-437, etc.
With Fang Bo 2 (rather stiff inner carbon blade), Timo Boll...
Since everybody's giving an actual advise, I will do so as well: just sweat less.
Now that I've read your post I completely agree. And even though I did remove rubbers incorrectly...still no splintering :D
And yes, I put 2-3 layers of DHS #15...
If you at any rate consider playing table tennis several times a week you should do muscle stretching and rolling.Three muscle groups that I do regularly: quads (quadriceps), glutes (khm, the ass...
Do you have a video showing your FH top spins? I want to see and potentially comment. Also, I will say it again in this thread: never had any splintering issues with glue like DHS #15, even with cheap...
If so, then Falco is even worse 😂
Nah it makes rubber mushy and doesn't add much speed. This is very much noticeable on all-wood 5ply blades.
Seamoon on the other hand evaporates faster, but actually adds speed.
The vid you've seen was probably one where I play with Yinhe Pro-01 and it was actually H3 Provincial 40 degrees orange sponge version, there's plenty of power in it. Yeah I can hit through it with 2...
In some of the threads I've seen someone mentioning exact thing I love about Chinese style - it's like watching martial arts.
It requires a lot of physical training and feeling of the body,...
Have a look at this one. Marvellous Chinese table tennis players...the defender guy has so much skill, he even turns his racket at plays powerful bakchand with his H3 side sometimes 🤯

I've never sealed any of my blades and never splintered top ply when using DHS #15. Revolution #3 as good as well.
Can't say the same about other glues though, because some of them are really...
Ahhh another thread about boosting H3, let's goooo 20 pages~!
p.s. Falco sucks with H3. Yes, the effect stays rather long, but doesn't add any speed to the rubber and only makes it mushy.Cheapest...
It's definitely Butterfly Viscaria. Also, FH rubber looks like DHS Hurricane 3 blue sponge and BH is something with black sponge, so probably some Xiom rubber.
One more question that's on my mind. As far as I know most players in China use Hurricane 3 on the forehand.
Does it matter whether I buy Provincial NEO version and skip boosting or non-NEO version...
In the video I play with Yinhe Pro 01 (Viscaria clone, ALC outer), Hurricane 3 boosted on the FH and H8-80 37 degrees on the BH.
Currently, I play with DHS Bo2 and same rubbers. I like Limba + inner...
I think with PG-5 you're buying a pig in a poke, but with Bo2 the QC should be much better and predictable.
Also, that's true that with Bo2 and HL5 one has to train often to not lose the feeling,...
whoops sorry for not mentioning that. At the beginning of the video I'm on the farther side of the table in blue Yasaka t-shirt
I've tried PG5 and honestly my sample had little control comparing to my DHS Bo2.
The latter is just so much more controllable, I currently play with it with H8-80 37 on the BH and H3 boosted on the...
Hey, PingBirdPong. Thanks for starting this thread, very interesting read.
Could you please satisfy my curiosity a bit as well? :)
I was always questioning myself on the stance in table tennis and...
