Haha, now I'm going to be looking for this vid!

I registered for this year's LA Open in the off-chance that I'll have time to travel at the end of the month, but I'll most likely have to withdraw....

Ah too big for me, but you're right, they should give handle size options for their most popular blades!

You probably have the same problem with DHS and many other companies.

Also, these all-too-similar Butterfly Koto ALC blades do offer different handle sizes and shapes on top of the different designs.

Excellent blade but very fast! I had to sell mine, too fast for me.

It's the exact same comp and thickness as Viscaria, Timo Boll ALC and Spirit, and the Kenta ALC. Just a different design.

To answer OP, a lot of people use the ZJK ALC. It's more expensive than...

Tamca 5000 doesn't have great dwell time like ALC does, it is however much faster.

Viscaria and Timo Boll ALC are koto outer, not limba.

And you need even greater technique than with Innerforce ALC to even play with these blades which are not forgiving.

I also put them in zip lock bags, 2 face-to-face, and squeeze the air out then put them in a drawer.

In the past, I've also used saran wrap for each sheet.

My Butterfly Innerforce ALC and Harimoto IF ALC feel just like my 5-ply Korbel Japan in all aspects of the game, they just give me an extra boost of speed and spin when I get into the ball more. I'd...

I finally tried mine. Great balance of control vs. speed, though a bit heavier than my 1st gen IF ALC, it feels more balanced with better weight distribution (so feels less heavy), and it seems to...

You're welcome! I hope you won't be disappointed, I don't think you will be!

It's an excellent setup, and it so happens both this blade and rubbers are best sellers in Japan. The Korbel is good...

An all-wood blade is definitely a good idea. I'd go for an ALL+ to OFF- blade since you seem new to the game. The Fextra is often recommended.

How long have you been playing?

Indeed! I recommend it and buy it for a lot of beginners and intermediate players at my club.

It also happens to be the 2nd best selling rubber in Japan over the last 3 years.

I'd say go back to 1.8 or 2.0mm right away either with your previously used rubbers or by purchasing new ones even if cheaper rubbers (Xiom prices are good). 1.4mm is way too thin for the modern...

Primorac is not that soft of a blade, and Rakza 7 Soft are still 40 deg. If you're scared it'll be too soft, then definitely go for Xiom Vega Europe (42 deg) in 2.0mm both sides, it's a great rubber...

I'd say the Primorac would be an excellent choice for you.

I'd pair it with Yasaka Rakza 7 Soft 2.0mm on both sides if you want something with control and still dynamic with good spin and speed,...

Very similar to the regular IF ALC, the larger head size gives it a slightly larger sweetspot and makes it a little more bendy.
