  1. Victas v20 extra

I assume you are asking if the two are similar. I'd say they fall in the same category of rubber. Grippy hybrid rubber with decent spin and speed. However I feel like the v20 extra is slightly faster and harder in feeling. The MK hybrid feels just a tiny bit more controlled but doesn't have the...
  2. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

Could you elaborate? I feel like saying a blade is heavier when nowadays you can select your selection isn't saying much. Also I rarely heard of an innerforce being faster than an outer carbon blade. And also from experience having played the Ovtcharov, Harimoto, Innerforce layer zlc, alc, alc.s...
  3. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

Hm.. basically I used to play the Innerforce Layer ZLC as my main blade but sold it recently because I was convinced I'd stick to Freitas or the then newly acquired Franziska ZLC (which I don't like at all). Despite the two of them having the same composition (layer zlc & franziska) they play...
  4. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

I currently play the Freitas and was looking for something similar just as innerforce zlc. Would you say the Apolonia or the Layer ZLC comes closer to Freitas in feeling and hardness? I dont like how you have to work super hard in order to get a decently paced ball with Franziska. With Freitas i...
  5. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

Hey there, do you have any insights as to what the differences between innerforce layer zlc and apolonia are? :D
  6. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

My Franziska ZLC weighs 90g and it still plays pretty slow compared to Freitas or IFZLC so yeah no big difference. But very insightful thanks! :) I was thinking about getting the Apolonia or normal IF Zlc as both of them are a little harder than the Franziska. Whenever I play it the blade feels...
  7. Different types of Butterfly Innerforce ZLC blades - Franziska vs Apolonia vs Harimoto vs Innerforce ZLC

Hey guys, I've been wondering if anyone has played the blades metioned above and knows their differences. I currently play the Freitas ALC and love how it plays on backhand. However I recently acquired the Franziska ZLC in hopes it would play similarly to it but boy was I wrong... it even plays...
  8. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

Ah cool. Might check it out sometime. Is the Victas v20 also a hybrid? The problem usually is the poor durability for these kinds of rubbers. Unfortunately not many people have mentioned alternatives to the MK so I might just stick to the rubber otherwise and see how they'll be like in the future.
  9. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

I have a blue rubber in 2.0... but I doubt the color affects durability in a negative way.. I did have the same problem with the k3 though. Although the durability issue are well-documented with that rubber. For the MK people haven't had as many complaints from what I could read online
  10. Tibhar Hybrid MK alternatives

Hey guys, I've been wondering if any of you have had any experience playing this rubber and know of its poor durability. I have played mine for approx. 2 weeks (4-5 trainings of 2h on avrg.) and the performance has gone down drastically after 2 weeks. Kind of disappointing in terms of...
  11. Why no one plays Butterfly Tamca 5000 blades

I was just generally wondering about this specific carbon of Butterfly. There aren't many blades with it anymore but I feel like its also never been very popular. Does anyone have experience playing it and knows where it lies compared to the more common ALC, ZLC, superZLC blades? How hard is the...
  12. What happened to the TTD youtube channel?

It appears all the videos of table tennis daily have been taken down. Does anyone know more about the current situation? I find it hard to believe that youtube had a serious reason to take the channel down. Looking forward to answers and hope the videos will be back up very soon !!

  14. Japanese table tennis youtube channels

Hey guys, I've been wondering if any of you know some informative and detailed tutorials of Japanese youtubers. Preferably with English subtitles!! I know of WRM (worldrubbermarket) as a main one but was wondering if there any other big ones out there. I just love how clean the Japanese...
  15. Alternative to smelly Chinese rubbers

Dignics 05 behaves similar to Chinese rubber if you ask me
  16. Dignics 05

3 out of 5 rating for Dignics 05 I am revoking my initial review of this rubber which was only a 3 star review. I recently gave this rubber a second chance and got to appreciate it for its controllability and precision in shots. This rubber gives you a lot of confidence in active strokes...
  17. Dignics 05

Review by 'Koichi' on item 'Dignics 05'

I am revoking my initial review of this rubber which was only a 3 star review. I recently gave this rubber a second chance and got to appreciate it for its controllability and precision in shots. This rubber gives you a lot of confidence in active strokes because of the long dwell time and its...
  18. Apolonia ZLC vs Innerforce Layer ZLC

I was wondering if someone knew the difference between those two blades (possibly owns both of them)? I know that they have the same composition like a lot of other blade (viscaria, Timo Boll ALC, etc.) But do they play the same? I found another post on this but did t find it very insightful...
  19. Old Chinese rubbers

Dunno... chucked the packaging. It said it was a genuine product so I guess it wasn't older than a year old according to your hypothesis ?
