  1. Alternative to Nittaku PK50 (and 8-80) ?

Which rubber did you end up trying instead of the PK50? I have also just found that it's discontinued and want a similar rubber on BH.
  2. Bring your own tt-balls to the club?

Ours has a container of Butterfly 3* that we use
  3. Any attempt to play in an competitive environment ruins this sport for me (rant)

If you start in the bottom team, so what? you'll be playing against everyone better than you so a good opportunity to learn. If that was me, I'd not worry about where my team place and just focus on competing to get my individual win % as high as possible across the season. Have that as your...
  4. DHS H3N for beginner

I've recently moved to Neo H3 on FH and absolutely love it too. I've started playing with Nittaku PK50 on by BH and get on really well with that. https://www.tabletennis11.com/other_eng/nittaku-sieger-pk50
  5. Post your latest EJ purchase

Ah right, sorry. As i'd not properly played with it before (apart from on a mate's bat a few weeks ago) I thought i'd start with no extra booster as the Neo is pre-boosted. I did buy some booster along with the rubbers so my plan was to try a couple of layers of booster in a few months

ha - the hurricane is black, i clearly entered my deets in to the wrong box in my profile. Panic over

Just swapped from Xiom Vega Pro FH and Xiom Vega Europe DF BH, to Hurricane III Neo on FH and Nittaku Siger PK50 on BH. Loving it....
  9. Recommendations for a soft controlled BH-Rubber?

I have the Xiom Offensive S blade listed above, and the Vega Europe DF on my backhand and love the set up. Great touch with this set up and it's not too spin sensitive, but like others mention, it's all about training and practice to neutralise spin
  10. Share your Racket's Photo

probably not the right place to chat camera gear at length so I'll just say that I've currently got 2 x canon 5D mkIV and a heap of L lenses that could help pay off my mortgage if I sold them all!
  11. Share your Racket's Photo

Said like it's a bad thing. Some people love understanding everything to with the sport, which includes geeking out on blades and rubbers. I find this side fascinating, I'm exactly the same with tennis gear and photography gear.
  12. Vega Europe DF

Reply to review by 'AdamTT' on item 'Vega Europe DF'

I have this rubber on the Xiom Offensive S and it's great. Really good touch & control of serves and can generate enough spin and speed to open up and drive. It's also great for blocks.
  13. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

from what i can tell, it could be an introductory offer price as i've never used AliExpress before. I'll order a few next week and see how I get on (trying a few different rubbers on monday on friends' bats)
  14. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

maybe it's a regional price? this is the link to the page, but I also have similar prices from other vendors...
  15. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

  16. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

yeah TT11 looks great, I've bought from Dandoy before who were also excellent but not yet from TT11
  17. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

Thanks all, I'll give it a try. For reference, the price for the DHS H3 Neo is €24.50 on TT11. For me in the UK that's £21 AliExpress has the same rubber for between £9-11 depending on the seller - all of which appear to have multiple sales and legit names as referenced above
  18. Are DHS rubbers on AliExpress genuine?

I was wondering what people's experiences are ordering rubbers (DHS H3 in particular) on AliExpress are, and if the rubbers are genuine ones. The prices are 50% cheaper than TT11 and Dandoy with free postage - it almost seems too good to be true.
  19. Xiom Vega H release?

Look forward to hearing more once you've given it a knock. As a massive long shot, I was at school with an andy smith years ago, don't suppose you grew up near Oxford?
