When you boost a rubber, the sponge thickness and the topsheet tension will increase both (the hardness will decrease), that's why a t05 boosted isn't a t05 "fx" because they have not the same topsheet tension and thickness. When you increase the thickness and the tension, the ball will go...
You can take max thickness for more spin, speed and lower throw.
I use the yasaka sweden extra too and I like the tsp ventus spin which is a little bit harder or if you want, tsp ventus speed which is 45°. They are heavier but only 3-4g more (and nearly the same price)... You can't fine...
Hey Player Tim,
I play with a yasaka sweden extra and v15 extra, do you think I can take the firefall fc for little more dynamic and less weight ? Does it play well ? good feeling ?
Thanks !
Well, I just bought a v15 stiff max, the hardness is likely the same as els, the weight when cut is +/-49g, the same as els so I am a little bit disappointed.
The sponge bubbles are small. The topsheet is grippy and is a little bit "shiny" but not like airoc, it remind me the bluefire topsheet...
Hi guys, there is not so much informations about the cictas v15 stiff on internet, is there someone who has already used it ? Can you compare the victas v15 stiff with the tibhar evolution els which I use now ? (my blade is yasaka sweden extra) (weight, hardness, throw angle, speed, spin...)...
the hardness of a tenergy 05 is higher than a fresh one, the high tension disappears, the boost inside the sponge disappears too thats why the overall hardness is higher.
When you take off a rubber, the rubber shrinks. But it depends on the rubber, the more the tension is high the shrink effect...
From table tennis rubber weight reference site, the stiga mantra s is the lightest with 42 degree.
Xiom vega europe and donic acuda s2 seem good too... I heard that the vega europe is not durable at all, the topsheet worn out quickly and lose grip.
Acuda s2 is a pretty old rubber comparing to...
