  1. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

My first bat was a YSE with R7 2.0 on both sides and I couldn't get on with them. Somehow I had a feeling that there was some catapult effect that kicked in randomly. I've changed to G-1/C-1 combo (also changed the blade) and now I feel that this combo is more linear. You get what you put into...
  2. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

For me it works sometimes, a softer sponge can create more catapult effect and make the ball faster (if you're more of an beginner as I'm). More power requires also a better technique. If you want to make BH flicks, for a beginner it's more difficult to do it with a harder rubber. Between C-1...
  3. Is Fastarck G-1 FH, Razka Z BH on Thibar Status power wood a good combo?

Depends on what you want to achieve. Even as an attacking player, are you more of an smashing player with aim to shoot high speed balls at the opponents side or you also want to add some spin to it? Rakza Z is capable of providing more spin but for the BH it can be bit of an hard rubber for new...
  4. Need Suggestion : Planning to buy a new custom racket - Intermediate Player

This ☝ Or if you want different rubbers on both sides, would choose Fastarc, G-1 or C-1. Had Rakza 7 before and was not impressed.
  5. Custom blade review

One advice I'd give to you is: Get a blade and glue some beginner rubbers on it. Pre-made bats are for recreational use only. After some time, the rubbers will become dead (and it they are almost deadish from the very beginning). On pre-made bats it's not always possible to change the rubbers...
  6. Medium hard rubber for backhand

Used Rakza 7, now using G-1 and C-1, both Fastarcs a less spin sensitive than Rakza. But that's maybe just my subtle feeling..for me it's easier to return spinny balls with Fastarc. 🤷‍♂️
  7. What is everyone's number 1 table tennis goal for 2025?

First: be a better coach for my son and play more with him. Second: Finally win my first set in a tournament or league match. 🙄
  8. Stepping away from carbon.

As a player that went from YSE + R7 on both sides to BTY Hadraw 5 + G-1/C-1 combo (same rubbers as you have), I was also feeling that the FA's are different and have to adapt to it (and it ain't a quick process). Had to change my swing, sometimes it feels awkward / weird, not natural to me, but...
  9. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Well, kinda hard to judge as I'm a newbie, have only played the YSE before and somehow I do not feel much difference. Not that there is none, it's just my inablility to feel the feedback and vibrations. It's more stiff, fast but still comfortable and with good control (compared to YSE). Well, I...
  10. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

@Larshos, my apologies for the delay, had to buy the calipers. 🤷 Not sure if I understood correctly what I was supposed to measure, but here is something. If you want to know anything else, let me know. Cheers
  11. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Will borrow the calipers from my FIL and get the measurements. 👍
  12. First setup for basement player

Guys....I got an early Christmas gift last year and my long awaited Hadraw 5 with Nittaku rubbers finally arrived. Been playing a bit with it and I had to change my FH swing a bit to adapt to the rubber (G-1) but it felt definitely better / faster than my previous setup. However the swing felt...
  13. Best carbon blade for stepping up from wood

There are carbon blades that are slower than Hadraw 5. Innerforce are about 180€ blades, Nittaku Accoustic is about 20-30€ cheaper. Are your peers gonna pay for the blade? If not, I'd stick with the Hadraw 5, it's an awesome blade. Have one myself.
  14. New BH rubber

Would say G-1 as it is more linear.
  15. New Butterfly Hadraw 5

Hadraw: FL: 100×25×34 mm ST: 100×23×28 mm Korbel: FL: 100×24×34 mm ST: 100×23×28 mm Primorac: FL: 100×25×34 mm The handle is bit square shaped, compared to my previous YSE. YSE was more comfortable but Hadraw is the better blade for my needs.
  16. Post your latest EJ purchase

After a month of waiting, I can finally overshoot the table with a new and even more expensive blade..
  17. Back/Side injury from forehand - Common or unlucky?

As someone who has enough experience with back issues, this seems to me like something I'm facing on a "regular" basis. Stuck nerve. Lots of pain with limited movements, going from the back all the way to the front of the body, sometimes even with feeling pain during breathing.
  18. What butterfly blade should i get?

And how do you like the hadraw 5?
  19. First setup for basement player

Hi guys, Only a quick update, we had that tournament at work where I went with a slightly faster blade with the MX-P's for the last two matches, which I both lost. First loss was against a better player, second was a loss where I was 1:0 in sets up and ended up losing 1:3 as I was not patient...
  20. Nittaku Acoustic inner carbon (Yasaka Razaka Rubber options)

Does it have to be Yasaka? I'd tke a look at the Fastarc G-1..
