  1. Carbon inner blades advice

Went for a different setup. Viscaria with Dignics 05 on bh and Dignics 09C on fh. Very impressed by 09c and the stability you get on topspins.
  2. Medium hard rubber for backhand

Good one, forgot that to add 😅 Currently using tenergy 19. Very nice playing 'far' from the table, I don't end up looping far away from the table with my backhand a lot, not particularly my strong suit so to say. It's ok in block and drives but to springy in the touch/short game and relative...
  3. Medium hard rubber for backhand

Hi all, Any advice/suggestions for a medium or medium hard rubber on a carbon inner blade fitting to points mentioned below? -Easy to push and drive -Not big of catapult effect -Not to speedy -Not to spin sensitive -Good in touch- and short game -(relative) good in serve receive (not to...
  4. Carbon inner blades advice

Thanks, interesting suggestion. I´m playing with R45 on my fh now, It´s kind of worn out after 9 months, especially the last 2 months or so. I liked the softer top sheet (could be a little les soft) that´s why I´m considering Dignics64 as well, that's a expensive option, durability wise it might...
  5. Carbon inner blades advice

Played with this blade at our tt shop yesterday, I like it. It possesses the qualities I´m looking for in a blade. Spinning(power and slow)/punching/driving/blocking felt very nice. I guess I'll mainly need to get used to the touch/short game and in some way on service receive. They had Dignics...
  6. Carbon inner blades advice

I've been playing the last couple of years with some wooden blades (Yasaka Sweden Extra, Stiga Cybershape Wood, Walder Senso V2). Very nice blades and I enjoyed playing with them. Same goes for some carbon blades I've been playing with. Last 2 years I've been playing with a Butterfly Balsa Carbo...
  7. Medium soft rubbers on fh and medium hard rubbers on bh

Any advice on medium hard rubbers for bh and medium soft rubbers for fh? In contrast to most players, I prefer a medium to medium hard rubber on my backhand and a medium to medium soft on my forehand. Simply stated I like to have more 'kick' on my forehand and not so much on my backhand...
  8. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

I guess it was chipped due to my backhand pushes. The left side of the R45 was chipped, I guess i've slightly touched the the table with my rubber a couple of times when pushing with my bh. Never had it before with other rubbers tho.
  9. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

Thanks for al the recommendations. I just went to our tt shop and tried various test blades with different rubbers. It obviously is just a first impression. The Omega series are very nice, highy quality rubbers and a lot of spin. I guess for my style/level at this point in time not the right...
  10. Rasanter R42 & R45 alternatives

Hi all, My current setup (playing with this setup approx 1 year) Blade: Butterfly Balsa Carbo X7 BH: Andro Rasanter R42 2.0 FH: Andro Rasanter R45 2.0 Quality wise I'm a bit dissapointed in the R45. The rubber was chipped early on at several places on the edges, rubber seems a bit brittle...
  11. Which backhand rubber for my Yasaka Sweden Extra blade?

Interesting suggestion, I was considering Vega Pro but I don´t have any reference nor someone plays with this rubber at my club. Can you tell you me something about the playing characteristics? (Maybe also compared to Vega Europe?). With Vega Europe on my forehand I can really crank it, I've...
  12. Which backhand rubber for my Yasaka Sweden Extra blade?

Which backhand rubber for my Yasaka Sweden Extra blade? Very satisfied with most of my current setup: Yasaka Sweden Extra, FH Xiom Vega Europe (max), BH Donic Bluegrip C2 (1.8) Only thing I would to improve and/or change is my backhand rubber. I'm a forehand dominant player and most of the...
  13. Best wooden allround+ and/or offensive- blades

Currently playing again for approx 2 year (after 16 years or so). A lot has changed since the mid 0's. As a EJ I'm still looking for a optimal setup. I've tried several different blades and (untill now) I came to the conclusion that wooden blades suit me best, I'm a two winged looper (controlled...
  14. 5 ply or 7 ply all-wood?

Thanks for sharing. I'm a bit hesitant cause of thickness of the blade, max rubber thickness on both sides it will be a quite thick setup. Will do some research.
  15. 5 ply or 7 ply all-wood?

I'll consider Nittaku Adelie, I'll test out the PG9 today 6,3 mm (similar in thickness I guess). I'm not sure of the characteristics of the PG-9. Thanks!
  16. 5 ply or 7 ply all-wood?

Only 2 training sessions and some friendly games, I would say 5 hours. I know that's very short, but it feels to me that I need a faster all-wood blade if I would eventually transition to a composite blade (if I ever will). Competition starts next week, I don't want to make that big of a...
  17. 5 ply or 7 ply all-wood?

Hi Guys, last year I picked up tabletennis again after 15 years, I noticed that some things have changed, mainly the ball and tensor rubbers I guess. I'm an average player with a rating around 1300. I like to attack double wing, spinning as well as driving. Pushing and short play are one of...
