  1. Rakza 7 vs DHS Gold Arc 8 (47.5)

GA8 is a bit heavier, I would try 2 mm first, it's a great backhand rubber and fast enough for 95% of amateurs.
  2. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I've had 3 Acoustics, they all feel differently. In my experience, H2 is a natural progression from an Acoustic. Similar short game and some reserves of power.
  3. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I'd been playing with an Acoustic for a long time, last 8 moths using the H2, and tried my friends' Acoustic Inner. To my experience, the Nittaku matrix is spot on.
  4. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

I'm not going to argue here, so let's agree to disagree.
  5. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Take two blades with similar speed, dwell and power. Let's say Joola Rossi Emotion and Nittaku S-CZ. Use the same rubber. Let's say Rakza Z which grabs the ball well and according to you will make the wood irrelevant. If you have been playing long enough, you will immediately feel that JRE (or...
  6. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

I didn't mean that at all. I mean it doesn't grab the ball as well as a H2, hence less spin.
  7. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

Another option, if you want to slow down - keep Hayata H2 and try UNBOOSTED H3 Neo 39, just cheap commercial one. It will be slow and spinny as hell. Hayata H2 + H3 Neo is a great match. Later on you can start boosting it and increasing speed gradually.
  8. What blade would you recommend for someone stepping down from carbon?

S-CZ is not much slower than Hayata if at all, I have both. And Hayata has more bite, it's spinner and imho a better blade. I'd just keep the Hayata and change K3 to a slower hybrid. Hayata H2 is not a very fast blade. Another alternative is a Violin which will be slower. Also a light Acoustic...
  9. Blade broken in half, did this ever happen to you?

I you you put it in the bag with a bottle of water or shoes or any hard object, so it lays there at an angle, and someone sits on your bag, the blade may crack.
  10. How to stop 3rd ball loop attack?

It's either a straight semi-long push with a really heavy cut (which is more difficult) or a fast BH flick (which is easier). And then it is all about the quality of these two of your shots. If the guy can attack both regardless, he's just a much better player and you will have to live with it...
  11. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

My Viscaria ALC is harder, faster and with less dwell and feel compared to H2, different feel, different handle, different balance. It's a completely different blade. H2 is much more forgiving, softer and spinny. Viscaria strong point is its stability and predictability. If you have great...
  12. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Here is Nittaku ranking ( and I mostly agree): Also bear in mind differences between blades: I have two all-wood Acoustics atm, and one is definitely softer that the other.
  13. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

It's hard to me to compare So-Ten to Acoustic Inner, as I tried it only briefly, Acoustic Inner would be faster and feel a bit harder, but that's all I can say.
  14. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Hurricane 3 NEO 39 FH and Rakza Z BH If you mean all-wood Acoustic, So-Ten feels a bit harder and a bit faster, with less dwell. In terms of feel I'd say Acoustic and Hayata are both very good. Control - I can't say, it's all individual, all three are reasonably controlled.
  15. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I tried it briefly, it was faster and harder than H2, but the rubbers were different (Tibhar K2), so I can't say much. It was ok, nothing really special, but that's me. If budget allows, I would definitely prefer a H2 to a So-Ten, between H2 and Acoustic inner - it makes sense to try both before...
  16. Nittaku Accoustic Inner Carbon G-Revision FL Comparison

Acoustic Inner is faster than H2 or So-Ten
  17. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

I might sound too critical about the So Ten,it may not deserve it, but it is all relative to H2. I had an idea of having it as a backup for H2, but realised it won't work. Thought about buying another H2 from TT11, who have it on sale, but all their H2s are over 90g and mine is 85, same as my...
  18. Nittaku Hina Hayata H2 Review

Having played for two more months with H2, I tried So Ten again recently, and it struck me as nothing special. H2 is a much better blade, with a better feel, for me at least. I might have just got used to H2 or it might just run in nicely, but it feels softer, with more dwell and control, it...
  19. How to play for a professional club like FC SAARBRÜCKEN-TT in the Bundesliga?

I remember coming up with a commercial idea: JM loses a point after point and shouts: "It CAN'T be CEREALS!" And the winner leaves with a box of Kellogs in his bag. But then I learned that cereals were bad for your health and decided to drop it.
