  1. I TESTED MA LONG’S ACTUAL TABLE TENNIS BAT!

Conflicts with the reviews from tabletennis11 that tested them and saw almost no difference between national and commercial. If it was an issue with blade pairing with the rubber I can understand that.
  2. I TESTED MA LONG’S ACTUAL TABLE TENNIS BAT!

Interesting how you have a wildly favorable review on it now, but when you reviewed boosted hurricane before it was not a good rubber. Is there something different significantly different about Ma Long's racket specifically than when you had reviewed hurricane 3 neo boosted?
  3. Best Inexpensive Training Ball

There are several different types of the Huieson balls, which one does your club like the best and why
  4. Best Inexpensive Training Ball

I use to use DHS D40+ and had some issues with quality control. 7 balls out of a box of 10 played properly. Has the QC been noticeably better within the past 2 years than previously?
  5. Best Inexpensive Training Ball

Where are these DHS 2 color balls that were used? Can you provide an aliexpress link or wherever it's found cheapest? Thanks
  6. Best Inexpensive Training Ball

Has anyone extensively tested the different balls to find the best low cost training ball (sub $0.70 cents/ball)? I see people liking Yinhe, Gambler, Nittaku Jtop, Sanwei, Heiuson, etc. Anyone do a roundup comparison for the best balls?
  7. Modern "classic" rubbers

Another option that I have used personally was Gambler nines ultra tack. Only slightly tacky, but very spinny and moderate speed. Lacks the higher end gears of speed of the modern ESN/Japanese rubbers, but I think it would be an option for you especially if you live in the USA.
  8. Modern "classic" rubbers

Classic style rubbers: Xiom Musa Intro Tensor style Rubber (slight catapult effect) Nittaku Factive Xiom Vega Intro For blades most 5 ply wood or 7 ply wood blades would work. Can go for something like butterfly korbel for 5 ply(good blade that has a lot of control and can last a person's...
  9. Heming Hu on Equipment

It amazes me how different people can watch the same exact video and target things he says. I understand it was a 40 minute video. He said you need a racket of a certain quality and after that it doesn't matter how high you go. His reasoning is because you need to have decent technique and not...
  10. Table tennis in Queens, NY

Anyone know where are the good clubs in Queens, NY to train and practice table tennis at a reasonable price and table availability
  11. Stiga Maple Nct v alternative

I'm interested in the stiga maple Nct v as the people at ttgear lab found an interesting phenomenon that it holds the ball more than just about all other blades on high impact shots. Now, stiga's blade is crazy expensive especially for an all wood blade. Are there any clones or alternatives on...
  12. DHS fans unite!

Is hurricane 3 neo commercial still the best bang for buck? I'm wanting to transition to tacky rubber forehand and backhand. Which tacky rubbers would be ideal? (Budget $25 per sheet or so). I plan to boost one to two layers of Falco tempo long if needed too. I was looking at the chatter...
  13. Should i boost hurricane 3 neo 39 degree

I have heard it both ways here on this forum. Do you need to reboost a rubber? Is there any definitive testing done by anyone?

Where does Geraldo post his equipment reviews?
  16. Common Sense Rubbers

Not much discussion on Rakza 7? I thought that would get the most chatter since it has such a huge cult following
  17. Common Sense Rubbers

Good point, the point range is a bit too wide, i'll tighten it up to be 1600 - 2200. This is probably the place where most club players on the more serious end tend to be.
  18. Common Sense Rubbers

Adding Vega X/Pro and Rozena to the list. It seems that there is popularity with Rozena, FastArc G1, and xiom vega x/pro.
  19. Common Sense Rubbers

How does Rozena compare to the other kinds of rubber in its class that you'd say Rozena is the obvious choice?
  20. Common Sense Rubbers

What sort of rubbers would one determine as common sense rubbers- that is rubber that is spinny, not too spin insensitive, easy to use, and high control for the modern spin attacking game for maybe USATT 1600- 2200. Ideally the rubber would not hold back the user, but also not make it difficult...
