  1. Is a Butterfly Super ALC more controllable than an ALC blade?

It is possible for Butterfly to finetune a blade to play like that. For example I feel that FZDSALC falls into that category. On slow and mid balls it feels slower, super controllable, deader if you will (compared to FZD ALC), so easy do control balls around net. However, when you hit hard, the...
  2. Difference between Viscaria and Viscaria SALC

Don't want to hijack the thread. Just to share my experience with alc vs. salc tech. I play with both FZDALC and FZDSALC. I guess I am in a minority who thinks that SALC is actually less bouncy, and yes....slower that ALC. It is also less crispy on contact, more muted. The exception is when...

There is no need to reach a consensus on this topic. I just wrote my experience. My opinion is as valid as anyone else's Every time I played with a sealed racket (I mean DIY sealing) I felt a significant difference. For example, joola aruna off, viscaria, lin gaoyuan alc...The sealant changes...

My racquet splinters every time I take the rubber off. I'm talking about Cybershape Carbon and Inspira. I refuse to seal it because the lacquer changes the playing characteristics significantly. Furthermore, it is completely unacceptable for this to happen on a premium product for which we pay...

My blade is 88 grams. Well, I weighed at least 20. They were from 87 to 90 grams.
  9. EmRatThich says learn w/Max thickness, fast rubber?

Absolutely, he knows his stuff. There is only 1 thing I would like to see (and I told him that) - narrative in English. The best way to follow instructions is to watch and listen at the same time. Reading subtitles makes things much more difficult.
  10. EmRatThich says learn w/Max thickness, fast rubber?

I disagree with ERT a lot and in general I think he is all show and no go. His content is a clickbait paradigm. Unlike him, you Ti Long is much better, gives much better advice, gives realistic advice. Everything he says has meaning and substance.
  11. Looking for light rubbers (coming from Rakza 7)

My setup is 183grams. FZD ALC + 2xD05max. Doesn't feel heavy at all. The key is the balance. The FZD is really well balanced blade - not head heavy.
  12. Do you apologize if your opponent misses a serve?

I go with Nadal - Sorry but I'll take it :)
  13. Which blade breaks easier, the flexible or the stiff?

It depends on the quality of workmanship. Glue quality, veneers quality etc,

I would never call any rubber or any piece of equipment the best. It depends on what suits you and your style of play. I like this combo. It is very dynamic and has many speeds. 09c is also excellent. I find it easier to play with D than with T. T is very reactive and bouncy. For high skill...
  15. Thoughts about Tibhar Dynamic JC blade?

Used it for 2 months. Not my cup of tea. The feel and sound were really "glassy". It was not dynamic somehow, felt dead.

  18. Broken/Cracked Timo Boll Spirit. Any Advice?

Congrats on your purchase. Btw, I reviewed it, take a look... It is different from TBS. It is more powerful, more alive, more kick. Every aspect is improved and refined imho.
  19. Broken/Cracked Timo Boll Spirit. Any Advice?

That kind of damage cannot be fixed. I agree with what they said. FZDALC is a great choice. Imho, the best alc blade BTY made.
