  1. Older Butterfly Primorac Off- - Old or fake?

Well thank you guys for the help, I am now confident that this is a genuine BTY blade from the early 2000s. After my journey into faster blades (following the destruction of my original Primorac 😭) I may now return to this lovely blade :) Thanks again!
  2. Older Butterfly Primorac Off- - Old or fake?

yes, the blades' surface is also sealed.
  3. Lookimg for a new blade

Ok, since my message took so long to type out, I missed these replies. I agree with the advice given about all wood blades being the better choice. You should definitely try the DHS Power G7, which is also quite cheap. I don't know about the quality control, but mine is great. Think handle though.
  4. Lookimg for a new blade

I took the same road and ended up playing my Primorac again, but let me try to narrow down your choices. The "large sweet spot" and "flexible" somewhat contradict one another, as a stiffer blade tends to offer a larger sweet spot and a more flexible blade tends to have a smaller one. One thing...
  5. Older Butterfly Primorac Off- - Old or fake?

it has the newer silver lense on the bottom, but the lense on the fh side looks like the post you linked AND the primorac classic inscription does seem to have been wiped off somehow. there surely was a period in which the primorac classic was available with the newer silver stamp on the bottom...
  6. Older Butterfly Primorac Off- - Old or fake?

I was just wondering if anyone knows what's up with the Primorac with the red-ish lense. The silver tags on the bottom of the handle are all the same older asymmetrical BTY logo with "Butterfly" written beneath. The silver-grey background also is NOT reflective or shiny, but looks printed on the...
  7. Upgrading my outdoor table tennis table with plywood?

Improving my outdoor table tennis table with plywood? Hey all, since the second strict lockdown is rolling around the corner in Germany and I still want to continue playing TT, I thought I would try and improve my Sponeta outdoor table tennis table. The problem I had, when the first lockdown...
  8. Best Non Chinese Rubber for brush looping?

I was not joking, when I said Dignics 09c might be a solution to the problem at hand. But the price is a joke and I found your answer pretty hilarious tbh :D I think hybrids might be the best for brush looping other than chinese rubbers. But some people like soft grippy rubbers more. Probably...
  9. Best Non Chinese Rubber for brush looping?

I am having the same problem as OP. Maybe Dignics 09c might be a solution. Though I have not tried it, nor do I fancy spending 80 euros on it :D
  10. Table Tennis Clubs/Stores in Kobe, Japan

Dear all, I'm visiting Kobe on a student visa this April (staying until August). There is a club at Kobe University, but I am interested if anyone has any recommendations on clubs and stores in the Kobe area. Looking forward to your replies. Cheers :D
  11. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

I decided to give the MX-P another chance. I applied a layer of Falco Long Term Booster to regain its lost liveliness (after 1 month of heavy use, though it dipped in performance far earlier). Now its faster and spinnier again; even has moer control for some reason (might be the softening...
  12. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

I have seen contradicting views on this. Though, I would like to believe you :D
  13. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

I kind of hate myself, because just because you mentioned H3neo, I am now thinking about the Nittaku DHS H3 hybrid rubbers... Maybe they provide enough additional margin for error... Have you tried them? Has anyone tried them?
  14. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

Also: I found another post in which someone explicitly suggested the Fastarc G-1 as a slightly slower, more linear, less bouncy replacement for the T05. https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?15571-Recommend-me-a-Rubber
  15. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

OK, so based on your input, I will further look into the Fastarc G-1 and the Xiom Asia variants. The Fastarc G-1 seems to have really good control and short game, as well as being linear. But I don't know about its spin production - especially on slow loops and the serve, my strengths. If anyone...
  16. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

I probably cuold have expressed myself more precisely. I like linear rubbers. I basically liked everything about the H3. If it weren't for the extremely low margin for error, I would still play it today... I just don't like if the catapult sets in unexpectedly. The T05 is actually kind of...
  17. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

Could there be a fitting Fastarc series rubber for my backhand? I really like the review on the fastarc g1, but I also like to match my FH and BH rubber's brand. (I know it sounds odd :D)
  18. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

Isn't the Tango really soft? I pretty much don't know anything about Joola rubbers. How was your experience with the Rhyzer series?
  19. European / Japanese Rubber for spin-oriented play

I have mixed feelings about the EL-S... I just don't seem to get when the catapult kicks in... Maybe I hadn't given it enough time.
