I have a specially made tiny bat to practice being mindful of contact point on the bat. It's actually surprisingly easy to play with. It's really the services that are more difficult, otherwise game play wasn't that different.

Have you tried combination dry/wet gluing? Like a layer on the blade and rubber, let dry, then a wet layer on the rubber and slap it on? I wonder if it can work similarly but still have a thicker glue layer. My concern is that while the glue is wet it may fill all the crevices, once it dries it...
