  1. Did anyone encounter splintering issue with Carbonado 290?

Is aliexpress available there? You can search for DHS no 15. I have not seen free chack 2 but free chack 1 was a disgusting glue that can ruin your blade and is near impossible to remove from the sponge of the rubber without damaging it. I would avoid german made glues like free chack 1, vario...
  2. Did anyone encounter splintering issue with Carbonado 290?

Don't use that glue. Either use Revolution no3 or DHS no 15 and you will be fine.
  3. Phantom Attack/M-Star rubber?

Honestly both M-Star and the Sueke rubbers seem like "rebanded" DHS. Like the M-Star to me looks like a H3 OS, the Sueke Phantom Attack is more like a blue sponge version H3. Heck 31USD for a blue sponge equivalent H3 ain't that bad deal for training purposes. And these are probably not fakes...
  4. Andro Synteliac

Are these carbons the "super" versions of green ALC and normal ZLC or just the normal weave ones? For normal ones the pricing is OK but not spectacular. I really like to see more Korean made blades, they must be a splinter under BTYs fingernail. That being said andro made these blades bland. I...
  5. Dignics 05 and 09C for Viscaria Super ALC

I don't really wanna spoil the idea you have about the G-1, it's not particularly a BH rubber. It surely can be used to great effect but I would look elsewhere. There are specific BH rubbers out there which excellent players have used to great effect. There's the Quantum X Pro from Tibhar which...
  6. Yinhe Jupiter 3 Amazing Rubber

Hmm, C2 and D09c don't feel the same at all. C2 is more in the "traditional" Chinese feel, while D09c is quite bouncy in comparison. C2 topsheet doesn't feel so stretchy and D09c feels very stretchy. C2 probably is closer to chinese style of rubbers.
  7. Double Fish Volant-Phoenix

Has anyone tried this rubber? Seems like a new one. I have tried the Qiji from Double Fish and it is very impressive. I can imagine this one is good too. It goes pretty cheap on prott, for about 15USD and apparently the manufacturer states it needs no boosting. From like a quick glance it...
  8. Butterfly Blade Serial No Check

It is fake tho... The head shape is off, the printing is off. Like they even forgot to add a space between "VISCARIA" HAS NOT and then I don't see a comma after SHOCK ABSORPTION.
  9. Joola Zhou Qihao Super AL-c 90 review

Don't even consider getting a thinner G-1 after using Dynaryz ZGR. You should go for max G-1. It will feel much faster and if you chose a thinner sponge you will hit down on the blade very quickly and if you need to do more of an arc loop you will suffer. Also from the back you will suffer. I...
  10. DHS HL5 and W968 catalogue description

These descriptions are very illusion and magic killing but I think it's probably the truth tho. In the electronic industry they kinda do the same thing if you all think about it. Let's take an easy example by looking at processors. Intel or AMD are fabricating the same dies for their actual...
  11. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Is Harimoto back on Tenergy? I just looked at the match against Falck, and the sponge seems orange rather than red. And now looking back on the Chengdu event I think he also played with Tenergy.
  12. andro Cross Step

I have a pair of this shoe, I got it when it was released back in 2019 November I think along with the Rasanter R53. Back then I played on rubber floors that are laid on concrete. Hard floor but quite grippy. My biggest gripe with this shoe is that by about February 2020 I basically wore down...
  13. DHS HL5 and W968 catalogue description

Just saw someone post a description of DHS HL5 and W968. To me it seems like pages from an official DHS catalogue as it has some info that probably only the manufacturer can confirm but I'm not sure. Posting both original Chinese and wechat translation. Sorry for the shitty English image quality.
  14. Tenergy 05 but less bouncy

Okay, I get your point now. Not that strange tho. I suppose there are a lot of 40-50-60-70 year old players in Japan (buying similar volume of product as 10-20-30 year olds) and to them Andro, Gewo, Joola, Tibhar must mean absolutely nothing, while Nittaku, Butterfly, Yasaka and TSP/Victas were...
  15. Tenergy 05 but less bouncy

Your post throws me off. Manto76 says G-1 is the most popular rubber in Japan; and you are on the same page but in a way that it sounds you are disagreeing 😅
  16. Recommended Table Tennis Shoes

Some comments are funny to read when you actually look at the Wave Drive 6 and Liner shoes and their soles are identical, in fact many other brands use the same shoe construction with a slightly different style of top part. A wave drive 6 is like 100EUR, I've seen basically the same shoe with...
  17. W968 alternative

Nexy's Yoo Nam Kyu blade is trying to be a pretty much a W968 copy too. It has 2 versions with different head sizes. Xiom's high end blades are Korean and they claim to use Japanese fibers. As a curveball suggestion many top players switched to W968 from Carbonado 45. Now sure this would...
  18. Possible new Butterfly rubber?

Since the "standard" Glayzer doesn't have a number to it I am hoping these rubbers are a lower cost rubber "series" just like Rozena. Tho Rozena is just a one off rubber, but I hope Butterfly follows the concept of it.
  19. Possible new Butterfly rubber?

Usually Butterfly releases their new stuff on 1st of April.
  20. The counterloop era?

It's important how much and serious injuries you collect when you get to 40. Timo has had pretty bad luck in this regards and it really shows. I did not follow CCY so much but I don't remember him complaining too much about injuries. And you can look at his game now and when he was 30 and look...
