  1. 2021 Chinese National Games

Amazing game, the amount of nets though in the last set near the end is unbelievable.
  2. Lin Yun-Ju: The Great River

That is very well written. Nice to see appreciation of LYJ in comparison to the Chinese players. Thank you for sharing.

My knee has been getting better as I persist with the knee exercises. I don't think it is back to its baseline yet, but I have definitely improved its strength with the physio exercises. I did a similar exercise 2 years ago with penhold. That time it was all forehands. This time I am putting...
  4. Do you play a musical instrument?

That sounds amazing Kolev! Well played! Did you used reverb in the video? How did you combine and sync both videos together and make sure they are in perfect time? Do you record the base part first, and then record the melody part with the base playback?

  7. Do you play a musical instrument?

Thanks Kolev! It actually didn't come across my mind when I was publishing the video, probably because I've never done it before. I am not against it. I wonder what it would sound like with some reverb. I would be keen to try it.
  8. Do you play a musical instrument?

River Flows In You I reverted back to the original recording mic position as I find I get too much 'noise' when playing this piece with mics too close to my arms. Feedback / comments welcome!

This video is not backspin, but topspin. Usually when I practice, i set it to second highest setting for backspin. But it usually ends up too short near the net, so it takes lots of time to fiddle to get the right placement.
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

The knee has been bit more stable lately, but due to busy roster, I didn't get much time to play TT. I tried to play with some friends ytd, but they were busy, so I ended up playing a bit at home. Was practicing the banana flip, then i thought, why not create an exercise to make some follow up...

  17. Post your TT Robot Practice Videos!

I changed from PH to SH. 😂 Thanks for your feedback regarding the short push + BH opener video! Yeah I have been tweaking the settings to try to get the bh return to be faster and flatter, but physically I haven't been able to do so due to knee injury that is lingering longer than I like. So...

Awesome! Another fellow Amicus Prime owner. I posted a simialr thread earlier where we can share videos of using TT robots and for sharing thoughts on the robots to help others choose their right robot...
  19. Do you play a musical instrument?

Thanks Music&Ping, hmm some different info from Kolev. I will consider the ORTF technique. Is it meant for up close to the strings like what I did with my video or further away? That link you posted contains very useful info! They use a third mic as a ribbon mic, which I don't have that...
  20. Do you play a musical instrument?

Thanks for this Kolev! This is so informative! I will try to record next time with 2 mics set as mono on Ableton. After that, how do I set the panning of the audio to create the sense of stereo? You are right, there are so many possibilities!
